5th Avenue Floor Store

5th Avenue Floor Store, premium flooring supplied and fitted in Dublin

5th Avenue Floor Store is a family-run flooring store based in Dublin with over twenty years of experience in the sector. Its activity combines the sale of materials with professional installation: the team advises on product selection, carries out measuring and handles the final fitting. It serves private homeowners, renovators and new-build developers in Dublin and surrounding areas.

Flooring catalogue and stair solutions

The range is organised into several product families, each aimed at different needs within the home:

• Water-resistant laminate, in herringbone and 12 mm straight plank versions.
• Fully waterproof SPC and LVT, presented as a suitable option for kitchens, bathrooms and busy households.
• Solid and engineered hardwood.
• Wood herringbone flooring.
• High-end carpets, supplied and fitted.
• Made-to-measure stair runners, in a range of styles and colours.
• Stair systems and bespoke staircases made to customer specification.

The catalogue is completed with accessories such as underlay and trims, and the store has a visualiser that lets you see how a floor would look in a specific room before deciding.

Advice, measuring and installation

The service begins with a home visit where samples of laminate, hardwood, herringbone, SPC and carpets are shown so you can compare colours, textures and finishes under the real light of each space. A no-obligation measure-up follows, including material calculations with allowance for waste and awkward areas, sub-floor checks and guidance on underlay, trims and door bars. Installation is carried out by fitters experienced in each type of material, with attention to sub-floor preparation, expansion gaps, skirting cuts and final clean-up.

Renovations, new builds and working with other trades

The company covers everything from renovating a single room to a full home refurbishment, and adapts scheduling to other trades when necessary. In new builds it collaborates with builders and developers on multi-unit projects, with site visits, coordination of timelines and a consistent finish across units. The source indicates that volume pricing conditions apply for these projects.

Experience and reviews

The company presents itself as a family-run specialist with over twenty years of experience and specific expertise in new-build homes. The site shows customer ratings of 4.8 on Trustpilot, 5.0 on Facebook and 4.9 on Google, and maintains a video channel with weekly episodes on installations and buying advice.
