Ballyvolane then passed to their son Jeremy, who ran it as a mixed tillage and dairy farm until the mid-1980s, when it became one of the founding members of the Hidden Ireland group. Jeremy and his wife Merrie ran it until January 2004, when responsibility passed to their son Justin and his wife Jenny. Justin and Jenny Green, with international hotel experience at properties such as Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, The Legian Bali and Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, currently live at the property with their three children.
