DesignCafe

Home interior design and installation in India, with modular kitchens, wardrobes, and showrooms in Bengaluru and other cities.

About DesignCafe

DesignCafe's work begins where a home needs to become a place to live: the kitchen layout, closet space, or the relationship between the living and dining rooms. With a presence in Bengaluru and other Indian cities, the company develops complete home interiors from design through installation. Its approach brings decisions about function, materials, and finishes into a single project, with a catalog covering one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes as well as other residential layouts.

Modular kitchens and wardrobes play a prominent role, but its projects also cover bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, children's rooms, home offices, bathrooms, and balconies. It also designs prayer spaces within the home, a feature familiar to part of its market. Styles range from contemporary to traditional, with minimalist, industrial, Mediterranean, rustic, and Art Deco references. That breadth positions the company as a service for planning the home as a whole, as well as addressing an individual room.

Storage runs through much of its work. The brand dedicates galleries and guides to space-saving solutions, kitchen organization, and furniture layouts. Its showrooms display combinations of kitchens, wardrobes, and living rooms; some include model homes and walk-in closets. These settings are designed to move visitors from a photograph to a concrete sense of proportions, doors, surfaces, and movement through a home. Completed projects offer another view of how those decisions come together in actual residences.

The sales process starts with an appointment and a meeting with designers, continues with a customized proposal, and leads to installation. The company describes a manufacturing process that checks assembly before packing and shipping. Project managers and carpenters handle on-site work, using floor protection and a quality checklist. The value of that process lies in the continuity between the approved design and the furniture ultimately installed, a less visible part of the project than colors or inspiration photographs.

Material choices relate to how each area will be used. DesignCafe describes eucalyptus-core plywood in its own product range, HDF panels for dry areas, and BWP plywood and HDHMR panels as options for damp areas. These choices sit alongside decisions about finishes and kitchen and wardrobe layouts. Its calculators let customers explore budgets for a complete home or those two groups of cabinetry. Technical information and space planning are part of the same conversation as the project's appearance.

Bengaluru has several of its showrooms: MG Road, Whitefield, HSR Layout, Hebbal, and Kanakapura Road. Additional showroom locations include Whitefield, on the third floor of Ascendas Park Square Mall, ITPL Main Road; HSR Layout, on the second floor of No. 11, 17th Cross Road, Sector 7; Hebbal, on the first floor of No. 7, 3rd Cross, K V Jayaram Road, MCHS Layout, Jakkur; and Kanakapura Road, on the second floor of NSB Arcade, No. 5, Raghuvanahalli.

The network extends to Mumbai, with centers in Andheri West, Thane, and Kharghar in Navi Mumbai; Chennai, with Mount Road and OMR; Hyderabad, with Gachibowli and Banjara Hills; and Pune, with Yerawada and Baner. The company also lists centers in other cities, including Coimbatore, Mysore, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Gurugram. Each showroom has its own mix of displays. Their common purpose is to let visitors discuss an interior project using furniture, materials, and room settings they can see in person.
