Acro Urban Suites

Acro Urban Suites occupies Propileon, a Koukaki street close to the Filopappou slopes and the pedestrian route around the Acropolis. The building was fully renovated in 2020 with an aesthetic recalling 1960s Athens: colours, furnishings and layouts vary from one studio to another. Although Google Maps lists it as a four-star hotel, the operator calls it an aparthotel; that distinction matters when judging the kind of service on offer.

Each unit has an equipped kitchen, private bathroom and Wi-Fi. Choices run from a 25 m² double studio to a 72 m² family suite sleeping six; some have a balcony or direct views, but not all. The lobby contains a lending library and the shared rooftop looks towards the Acropolis and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. A breakfast box is available on request, as are transfers; neither an in-house restaurant nor a buffet comes by default.

For October 12–13 and two adults, the official site appeared on Maps at a USD 167 total including taxes and fees; the card did not identify the studio, breakfast or cancellation terms. Agoda showed USD 147, without proving that the room or terms were the same. Acro suits travellers who would rather prepare something in their kitchen and be more independent in a neighbourhood full of places to eat than pay for the facilities of a conventional hotel.
