Parc Astérix: Rides and Shows About 40 Minutes from Paris
Parc Astérix is a theme park about 40 minutes from Paris. Its offerings combine rides, live shows, and themed lodging, with attractions for families and groups of friends. The park presents itself as a destination for all ages, with activities for visitors across generations.
Featured Rides
Among the attractions the park identifies as iconic are La Tour de Numérobis, Tonnerre 2 Zeus, Pégase Express, Cétautomatix, Toutatis, and OzIris. Pégase Express is listed as the best attraction of 2025. The park also distinguishes between roller coasters and large eight-shaped rides, with information to explain the difference.
To manage wait times, the park sells Filotomatix passes for faster access to selected rides. The website notes that a wait of around 10 minutes may still occur. Filotomatix Or and Filotomatix Illimité options are available.
Tickets and Passes
The park’s ticket office offers several options. Billet Malin costs a flat €49 for adults or children, is date-specific, valid on a limited number of dates, and cannot be combined with other promotions, refunded, or exchanged. Billet Liberté Flex costs €68 for adults (ages 12 and up) and €59 for children ages 3 to 11. It is date-specific and can be changed up to one hour before the park opens, subject to availability. According to the opening calendar, it is valid for visits from April 4, 2026, through January 3, 2027, but excludes the Peur sur le Parc 2026 evening events (7 p.m.–1 a.m.). Admission is free for children under 3. For safety, some rides have minimum and/or maximum height requirements. Parking is paid on-site.
Season passes are also available starting at €99 per person, as are overnight packages combining park admission and lodging. The park says ticket prices vary by date.
On-Site Hotels
The park has three themed hotels: Les Trois Hiboux (***), La Cité Suspendue (***), and Les Quais de Lutèce (****). Overnight packages start at €99 per person at Les Trois Hiboux, €102 at La Cité Suspendue, and €111 at Les Quais de Lutèce. Packages include time before and after the park closes and can combine admission with a stay at the selected hotel.

The calendar includes Peur sur le Parc, scheduled from October 3 through November 8, 2026. The park also offers dining, shuttle transportation, skip-the-line access, gift cards, and a mobile app for locating favorite rides.
