Hôtel Louvre Richelieu

Hôtel Louvre Richelieu places guests less than 500 meters from the museum, but its location should not eclipse the room choice. This three-star hotel stands at 51 rue de Richelieu by Palais-Royal. Its range runs from singles and doubles to a triple and a 21-square-meter suite for four. The hotel lists its Double Comfort rooms at 12 to 16 square meters. That difference in floor area matters as much as the address for a couple with luggage or a family hoping to explore Paris on foot.

Review platforms reveal both a clear strength and useful limits. On October 1, 2026, Google showed 4.1/5 from 220 reviews. Booking listed 7.8/10 from 704 guests; its location score was 9.5/10, compared with 7.6/10 for facilities. Guests praised the proximity to the Louvre and Palais-Royal, but room sizes vary. Google Hotels also says the building has no lift, a decisive point for heavy luggage or limited mobility that is worth confirming with the hotel before booking.

This hotel can work as a walking base for a first visit focused on the Louvre, Tuileries and surrounding streets. Room details come from the official site; the ratings and classification appear on Google Hotels and Booking.
