Maison Heler is a four-star hotel located in Metz's Amphithéâtre district, an area the property itself describes as the city's new cultural, business and architectural hub. The establishment is just steps from the TGV train station, the Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Metz Congrès Robert Schuman and the city centre. Its design is by Philippe Starck, who conceived it as a livable work of art with a surreal and literary character.

The hotel was honoured with the Hotel Design Award 2026 in Milan and selected among the hundred most beautiful hotels in the world at the Hôtel & Lodge Awards 2026, in the Architecture category. The property also presents itself as the winner of the Best Hotel in Metz 2026 recognition awarded by Meilleurs.

The accommodation is spread between the second and eighth floors, with a total of 104 rooms and suites. They are designed for business travellers, cultural getaways, weekends in Metz and family or more contemplative stays. They combine four-star comfort with Philippe Starck's design signature, carefully selected materials and poetic details. On the furniture appears Manfred's secret alphabet, a feature that invites guests to decipher the house in a different way.

Two restaurants and two bars

The dining offering is divided between two houses with different atmospheres. On the garden level, La Cuisine de Rose operates as a chic and welcoming brasserie, with seasonal cuisine made with fresh, local produce, a terrace and a garden in the heart of the city. On the ninth floor, La Maison de Manfred occupies the highest rooftop in Metz and its surroundings, with an elegant restaurant, a cocktail bar and panoramic views of the city's iconic landmarks. Both spaces are open to travellers and locals alike, for lunch, dinner, after-work drinks, business meetings or evenings with friends.

Maison Heler welcomes companies, agencies, event organisers and private guests in a unique setting. The property brings together accommodation, dining, bars, a rooftop, a terrace and dedicated event spaces all in one place. The project was born, according to Philippe Starck, from a surreal and poetic tale imagined by the designer himself, materialised as a hotel conceived as a livable work of art. That narrative dimension runs through the experience of the accommodation, the dining and the events, and is supported by features such as the secret alphabet present on the furniture.
