About Hestia Hotel Barons

Hestia Hotel Barons occupies two different buildings in Tallinn’s Old Town: a former Art Nouveau bank from 1912 and a fifteenth-century side house. Their architectural difference also matters when booking, because some room categories are in the main building and others in the annex. Town Hall Square is about 300 metres away according to the hotel. This is more than a central address: it is a night inside the network of streets and merchant houses UNESCO recognises as part of the Hanseatic city’s heritage.

The hotel advertises 65 rooms, from singles to suites with saunas, and family rooms in the side building. Breakfast is served in Restaurant Margarita on the main house’s second floor; the lobby bar opens through the day and evening. Check-in starts at 15:00 and departure is by noon. The reception number is +372 616 5700. Drivers should examine the external parking arrangement described by the hotel, as an old-town street does not mean a space at the door. If carrying heavy luggage or dealing with limited mobility, ask which building and staircase correspond to the chosen room.

Guest accounts highlight the interiors’ character, location and breakfast. Others mention the size of some rooms, differences between buildings or the effort of carrying bags through the Old Town. Architectural charm does not remove those practical points. Compared with simple Zinc Hostel, Barons provides hotel service and private bathrooms in a more elaborate historical setting. Its value is better judged by the actual room and the wish to stay within the old cityscape than by a generic luxury label.
