Hire A Maid House Cleaning Services Inc. is a Canadian home cleaning company that has been operating since 2008 in Toronto, Durham Region, and York Region. The company presents itself as a residential cleaning service for homeowners, with more than fifteen years of activity and over 130,000 cleanings performed, according to the data published on its website.

The company serves single-family homes, apartments, condos, and townhomes, and its staff consists of trained and background-checked employees, according to its own description. The company states that it has liability insurance and WSIB coverage, and applies a quality checklist on every visit, as well as gathering customer feedback to resolve any issues.

Home cleaning services

Hire A Maid's catalog is organized into three main types of residential cleaning:

• Regular maintenance cleaning: recurring service for the usual care of the home.
• One-time deep cleaning: suitable for moves, preparing a home for sale or staging, among other situations.
• Post-renovation cleaning: removal of debris and dirt generated by construction and renovation work.

The company offers Basic and Premium maintenance plans, both customizable according to the frequency and needs of each home. The Premium plan, which the company describes as its most popular option, is designed for homes seeking a complete and detailed cleaning on every visit, while the Basic plan is aimed at small households or those who prefer to handle some tasks themselves. Both plans begin with an initial deep cleaning. There are also one-time or occasional appointments, with deep cleaning included, adaptable to specific needs.

The company distinguishes between regular cleaning and deep cleaning: the latter addresses dirt accumulated over time and requires more dedication, although it covers the same surfaces and areas as the standard service. In both cases, the customer can request additional areas such as inside cabinets, the fridge, or the kitchen, according to the information on the site.

How the service works

The process described by the company begins with booking a cleaning tailored to the home, schedule, and needs of the customer. On the day of the appointment, the cleaning team follows the agreed plan. The company emphasizes that it strives to keep the same professional on each visit, so that they know the home's preferences, and offers the customer a list of recommended equipment and products so that the cleaner has the right tools.

Team and quality guarantee

The company stresses that its staff is trained and verified, and that it has liability insurance and WSIB protection. It applies a quality checklist on every service and actively seeks customer feedback to address any concerns. Among its stated priorities are the professionalism of office and cleaning staff, employee satisfaction, and attention to detail.

Social commitment

Hire A Maid has maintained a collaboration for more than ten years with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that arranges free cleanings for families of women, men, and children undergoing cancer treatment. The company states that it has donated more than $15,000 in free cleaning services to this cause.
