Dr. Aaron Fox, Certified Specialist in Endodontics
Dr. Aaron Fox graduated in Mathematics (BSc) from Dalhousie University in 2002 and began his professional career as a venture capital analyst at e-Scotia, within Scotiabank, in Toronto. After a few years in the financial sector, he moved into dentistry: he obtained his D.D.S. degree from the University of Toronto in 2006 and practiced as a general dentist for nine years, during which he progressively focused on clinical endodontics.
In 2015 he began his endodontic residency at the University of Toronto, where he obtained his master's degree in 2018. His clinical research has focused on the detection of root fractures using Cone Beam CT and on the characterization of artifacts generated by different root filling materials and their influence on the detection of such fractures. He has presented his work to associations such as the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and the Canadian Academy of Endodontics, and has published in journals such as the Journal of Endodontics (JOE).
Dr. Fox maintains a full-scope endodontic practice in Toronto and Waterloo (Ontario). He has volunteered with Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) and played a key role in developing a pre-clinical endodontic program at the University of Health Sciences Dental School in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania).
