History of the centre

The practice, originally known as Clarke Road Dental, began a major transformation in October 2002 after a change of ownership. During that period, the spaces were renovated, the operatories were expanded, and modern equipment was added, along with a new hygiene operatory and eight computers distributed throughout the operatories. The team grew from five employees to more than thirty. The company was incorporated on 1 January 2007 and, that same year, moved from its location at Argyle Mall to a new building near 400 Avondale Road. On 16 November 2008, the sedation permit was added and sleep dentistry began. In May 2011, Dr. Kim joined as a partner after eight years in the practice. In 2012, the east wing of the building was expanded to create a dedicated hygiene area. In January 2016, a second location opened on the west side of the city, next to the Costco gas bar on Wonderland Road. In 2021, the east location joined the MCA group and became known as Dental Studio Avondale Road.
