Professional team

The clinic's team is made up of general dentists. Dr. Ruby Bhullar earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia in 2007 and has been practising dentistry for more than fifteen years. In 2010 she began her training in implantology and in 2013 she became an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID). She is also a Fellow of the Academy of Clear Aligners (FAACA) and is working towards Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. She is an Invisalign provider and has treated numerous cases that would traditionally have required metal braces. She is trained in sedation dentistry, including oral sedation, with nitrous oxide and intravenous sedation. In her practice she incorporates lasers, CT scans and 3D digital scanning for treatment planning. She currently focuses her activity on intravenous sedation, oral surgery, implantology and orthodontics with clear aligners. She is a co-founder of the Indo-Canadian Dental Association and takes part in charitable initiatives providing dental care to underserved communities.

Dr. Sunita Kadam completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Sangli (India) in 1997 and worked as an associate dentist in that country for more than five years before moving to Canada, where she worked as a dental assistant until 2010. She subsequently earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto in 2013. She has accumulated experience in restorative, preventive, aesthetic, endodontic and prosthetic dentistry in various general practices. Dr. Karishma Ratani is also part of the team as a general dentist.

The clinic is owned by Dr. A. Shivji Dental Corporation.

Service in several languages

The centre offers dental appointments in different languages. At the time of the consultation, the clinic indicated that it provides service in Hindi and Punjabi, and that patients can state their preferred language when booking so that they are assigned a professional who speaks it.

Thunderbird Dental Group accepts and bills most insurers directly. Its fees follow the BCDA (British Columbia Dental Association) fee guide.
