Professional Team

The team is led by Dr. Greg Magee, Dr. Trevor Onishenko, and Dr. Colin Hughes, among others. Dr. Magee holds an Honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Brunswick and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University. He completed a general practice residency at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital, and he is accredited for intravenous sedation. He has worked in Vietnam and Cambodia in hospital oral surgery and pediatric care.

Dr. Onishenko graduated with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000 and has completed extensive training in the placement and restoration of dental implants, bone grafting, Invisalign clear orthodontics, and smile rejuvenation. Dr. Hughes graduated in 1991 from the same university and co-founded Creekside Dental Clinic with his wife, Dr. Gillian Rychjohn, and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Darcy Penkala and Dr. Todd Penkala. He received his accreditation for intravenous sedation in 2006 at Portland State University.

History and Community

The clinic opened its doors in 1992 and has since expanded its care capacity. In 2017, Dr. Magee and Dr. Onishenko acquired the practice and maintained the original family focus, preserving the ability to offer all dental treatments in one centre. Creekside Dental Clinic is part of the 123Dentist community.

Hours and Access

The centre is open Monday to Saturday, with extended hours and weekend appointments. The clinic is located next to Gyro Beach and has free parking. It also offers complimentary oral health scans for new patients or for those who want to check their children's dental health.
