RVcover.ca: RV and trailer covers shipped from Canada

RVcover.ca is an online store that sells protective covers for recreational vehicles and other automobiles. Its catalog focuses on covers for Class A, B, and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers, teardrops, and folding campers, as well as covers for cars, trucks, limousines, hearses, motorcycles, scooters, and golf carts. The company operates from Canada and all prices on its website are in Canadian dollars.

RV cover models

The main offering is built around two outdoor cover models: Gold Shield and Silver Shield. The Gold Shield model has a five-layer top and partially overlapping three-layer sides; it is designed for extended outdoor use in extreme weather conditions. The Silver Shield has a three-layer top and partially overlapping two-layer sides, and is recommended for moderate climates or for vehicles stored under carports. Both models share accessories and features, differing only in the number of protective layers.

The covers include a porous microfilm inner layer that prevents moisture buildup and protects against mold and rust. The outer layers are made with Polypropylene PLUS, a bacteria-resistant, waterproof, and durable material treated with UV Sun Inhibitor to counteract sensitivity to ultraviolet rays. Common features include elastic corners for a snug fit, reinforced buckles, modular zippered side panels, vents for breathability, ladder protection, and rain gutter covers.

Vehicle protection and maintenance

The company explains that using a quality cover helps preserve the exterior, roof, and overall condition of the vehicle, whether it is outdoors or in storage. UV-resistant covers prevent fading and cracking, while waterproof ones protect against rain, snow, and bird droppings, reducing the risk of rust and stains. In addition, a custom-fit cover helps maintain resale value and acts as an extra deterrent against theft and vandalism.

Shipping, warranty, and customer service

RVcover.ca ships all orders from its Canadian warehouse, with free shipping and no duties or brokerage fees for Canadian customers. The company offers a lifetime warranty on all its RV covers, as well as a 30-day return guarantee. The customer service team is available every day by email, live chat, or phone. The company presents itself as Canadian and states that its mission is to offer Canadians the best RV covers.

Measuring guide and resources

The website includes a guide to properly measuring your RV and choosing the right size. If the vehicle length falls between two sizes, the company recommends choosing the larger one to facilitate installation and avoid stress on the material. It also offers a blog with tips on purchasing and maintaining covers, as well as an FAQ section about shipping, payments, warranty, and returns.
