Moving Champs: local and interstate removals in Australia

Moving Champs is a moving company operating in all Australian states and territories: ACT, NT, SA, VIC, NSW, QLD, WA and TAS. According to its presentation, it has more than eight years of activity and its own trained crews that have carried out thousands of local and interstate moves for households, students and businesses, from the pickup of a single item to a full four-bedroom home.

The company identifies itself as a licensed and ABN-registered moving company (98 683 754 001). Its proposal is based on hourly or per cubic metre rates, communicated in advance, and includes trained personnel, trucks with hydraulic tail lifts and protective equipment such as trolleys, blankets and straps.

Moving services for homes and businesses

Moving Champs' catalogue covers different types of moves. For homes, the company carries out full house moves, furniture and specific items. In the professional field, it moves offices with the aim of minimising disruption to business activity. It also offers door-to-door interstate moves between major Australian cities.

The firm details specific services for items that require special handling:

• Pianos, with packing, safe loading and transport.
• Pool tables, with tools and specialised personnel.
• Bathtubs and spas, with equipment and trained labour for heavy objects.
• Refrigerators, which include protection, cleaning and installation.
• Wardrobes, which may require disassembly, protection and subsequent reassembly.
• Dining tables, with disassembly, packing and careful transport.
• Beds, along with other basic and luxury goods.

In addition, the company offers a "Man With A Van" service for small and quick moves, and a backloading option for economical interstate moves, in which the client pays only for the space used.

Packing, storage and complementary services

Moving Champs has trained packers who wrap, pack and label items, and who can unpack at the destination. The storage service allows goods to be stored for weeks or months in secure, monitored facilities, with the option of later delivery when the client requests it. The company also carries out rubbish and unwanted item removal before or after the move, and offers home and office cleaning services, including living room, toilet, bathroom, kitchen, garden and garage.

The company operates throughout Australia, with local and interstate services in cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and Darwin, and between them. The site indicated reference rates: "Man With a Van" from $120 per hour, house and office moves from $130 per hour, and interstate moves from $150 per cubic metre.
