Lakes Custom Computers

Lakes Custom Computers: custom PC building in Swansea

Lakes Custom Computers is an Australian custom computer builder with a physical store in Swansea, New South Wales (postcode 2281). The company presents itself as specialising in gaming and workstation systems, and sells both pre-built configurations and customer-designed systems. Its catalogue is organised into sections such as in-stock PCs, favourite builds, themed systems, and workstations or AI PCs.

Custom configuration and selection tools

The site offers three main ways to choose a system. The first is a custom builder that lets you select a theme, case and components, and only shows parts that are compatible with each other. The second is a quiz called PC Picker Quiz, which recommends a computer based on your answers about needs, style and budget. The third is a list of favourite builds created by previous customers, with real photos of the systems, which can be added directly to the cart.

Systems and components catalogue

The catalogue includes gaming configurations with AMD Ryzen and Intel Core Ultra processors, and Nvidia RTX and AMD Radeon RX graphics cards. Featured models include the "Assassin" 5070 Gaming PC, with Ryzen 7 7800X3D and RTX 5070, described as the bestseller of the year; the "Deep Value" DDR5 Gaming PC, with Ryzen 5 8400F and RX 9060 XT; the "Cloud Nine" 5090 Gaming PC, with Ryzen 7 9850X3D and RTX 5090; and the "Multi-Theme" 5080 Gaming PC, with Ryzen 7 9850X3D and RTX 5080. The company also sells themed systems, such as the Cinnamoroll Pink Hyte Y70, the star-themed "Stellar", "The Matrix", "The Joker", the Hatsune Miku x Asus ROG and the "24K Gold" Showcase PC. In addition, the catalogue includes accessories and complementary equipment, such as headsets, keyboards, mice, mousepads, monitors and sim racing gear.

Workstations and AI systems

The company has a specific category for workstations and AI PCs, with fifteen items at the time of analysis. This line is aimed at professional uses that require more computing power than a conventional gaming system.
