Think Renewable

Think Renewable, solar and battery installer in Australia

Think Renewable presents itself as a solar and battery system installer with accredited electricians across Australia. The company serves both homeowners and businesses, and positions its offering as a comprehensive service that covers everything from assessing the suitability of the property to on-site installation.

Its offering is built around energy independence: reducing reliance on the grid, cutting monthly bills, and taking advantage of available government rebate programs for home batteries. The firm describes itself as "award-winning" in its own promotional material.

Residential services

The residential catalogue includes several lines of work:

• Solar photovoltaic systems, with savings calculations based on a standard 6.6 kW installation.
• Solar batteries to store energy and reduce reliance on the grid.
• Retrofit batteries for homes that already have an existing solar system.
• Participation in virtual power plants (VPP), presented as a shared grid that can generate income.
• Regular maintenance and servicing to extend the lifespan and efficiency of installations.
• Home electric vehicle chargers.

Commercial services

For the commercial segment, the company focuses on controlling energy costs and meeting sustainability commitments to customers. The website does not detail further conditions or the scope of these projects.

Engagement process

The site describes a four-step journey: requesting a free quote with information on rebates and payment plans; selecting the right system after assessing the property's suitability; installation by in-house electricians, which according to the company is usually completed in about 24 hours; and enjoying the savings with a warranty and after-sales program.

Brands and rebates

Think Renewable identifies itself as an authorised dealer and installer for several leading brands in the sector, although the material does not specify which ones. It also mentions new government rebates for home batteries starting July 1, without detailing amounts or conditions.

Geographic presence

The company states it operates with electricians across the country and lists locations in Perth, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney (including the Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, Sutherland Shire and Southern Highlands areas), Newcastle, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Partnerships and reviews

The site mentions a partnership agreement with the Cronulla Sharks. It also includes customer testimonials highlighting the punctuality of the teams, the speed of installation and the explanatory work of the sales advisors, as well as the attention received throughout the process.
