Mercirugs

Mercirugs, washable rugs designed in Melbourne

Mercirugs is an Australian brand based in Melbourne dedicated to the design and sale of machine-washable rugs. Its catalogue is aimed at homes with pets and children, combining thoughtful designs with the practicality of a product that can be washed in a washing machine. The company presents itself as an alternative for those looking for rugs with a premium look without giving up easy maintenance.

Materials and construction

The rugs are made with a smooth, water-resistant fabric that provides a soft, cushioned feel. The company describes this fabric as exclusive and thickened, and notes that it provides not only comfort but also noise absorption, floor insulation and durability for high-traffic areas. The system consists of two layers: a washable cover and an upgraded non-slip base that offers greater grip and allows you to refresh the look of the room by changing only the cover.
