SP Screens: security and comfort screens for the Australian home

SP Screens is an Australian company dedicated to the manufacture and installation of screening products for homes. Its catalogue covers security screens for doors and windows, retractable and pleated fly screens, aluminium slat fencing and screens, indoor blinds and plantation shutters. The company presents itself as a provider of solutions that combine security, ventilation and solar control, with professional installation by licensed technicians.

Security for doors and windows

The security screen range includes fixed, hinged and sliding models. According to the company, these products are designed to withstand intrusion attempts and are tested to meet Australian security door standards when installed with a triple lock. Mesh options include SecureView 316, made of woven stainless steel, and Xceed, made of perforated aluminium, which the firm says resist jemmying, cutting and impact. The frame fixing system is patented to prevent detachment. Installation is carried out by licensed security screen installers.

Retractable and pleated fly screens

SP Screens claims over a decade of experience installing retractable fly screens. Its range includes sliding models for hinged doors and pull-down screens for windows, designed to cover large openings and maintain ventilation without insects. The company offers these solutions made to order, with custom measurements.

Aluminium slat fencing, screens and gates

The company manufactures custom aluminium slat fencing, gates and screens with a powder-coated finish. These products are presented as a practical, low-maintenance option for creating private outdoor spaces. The catalogue includes alternatives with a Colorbond or wood-look finish. Installation is also handled by the company.

Blinds and shutters

The solar control and privacy section includes roller blinds, vertical blinds, panel glide blinds and plantation shutters custom made in a wide range of colours and timber stains. SP Screens offers free no-obligation quotes for these products and guarantees the workmanship on all its blinds and shutters.

Other products and applications

The company also sells security screens for windows with emergency escape and fall-safe functions, as well as conventional insect screens. Its products are aimed at protecting the home from insects, intruders, extreme weather conditions, sunlight and noise, as well as providing privacy.
