Mini Maestros

Mini Maestros: music and movement for children aged 0 to 5

Mini Maestros is an Australian organisation dedicated to teaching music and movement to babies and children up to 5 years old. Its program combines singing, dancing and percussion in active, educational sessions, with a sequential approach tailored to each age group that is based on learning through play.

The approach is built around the idea that making music contributes to the integral development of a child's brain. The company presents its classes as a space for children to build confidence in front of their peers and teachers, develop resilience and discover the joy of learning, always accompanied by their families.

A program structured by age

The program follows a sequential approach specific to each age, aligned with the early years framework. Sessions include singing, movement and the use of percussion instruments, and are designed as an inclusive space where different learning styles are respected.

The company describes its method in three steps: enrolling in a class, taking part in an inclusive, age-appropriate program that fosters social connections and personal expression, and celebrating the child's progress together with the local community.

In-person classes, demonstrations and on-demand lessons

Mini Maestros offers in-person classes in various locations, as well as free demonstration classes for those who want to try before committing. It is also possible to enrol in a three-week trial or a full term.

For those who do not have in-person classes nearby or prefer to learn at home, the company offers on-demand lessons. It also runs weekly incursions in early learning centres (ELC) as a way to introduce children to the benefits of a quality music program.
