Mocka

Mocka, modern and affordable furniture with Australian design

Mocka is an online furniture store operating in Australia and New Zealand that presents itself as a destination for furnishing the home with modern and affordable pieces. Its catalogue is organised by room and by product type, so customers can browse the range from the living room or dining room to the bedroom, kids' room or outdoor area. The company states it has been active since 2007 and describes its design as made in Australia, with home delivery and a support team based in the country.

A catalogue organised by room and needs

The store's navigation groups products into main areas: living room, dining room, bedroom, baby, kids, youth, outdoor, lighting and decor, and office and storage. There is also a specific furniture sets section, designed for those looking to furnish an entire room rather than individual pieces.

Within these areas there are specific categories such as sofas, dining tables, dining chairs, coffee tables, side tables, sideboards and display cabinets, beds and bedheads, bedside tables, chests of drawers, wardrobes, desks, shelves and storage solutions. The baby and kids' range includes beds, bunk beds, mattresses, tables and chairs, desks and nursery furniture, with specific sections for cots, changing tables and nursery accessories.

Outdoor furniture, lighting and decor

The outdoor catalogue brings together sofas and lounges, dining and coffee tables, chairs and complete sets for terraces and gardens. Lighting and decor includes table, floor and night lamps, mirrors, cushions, throws and rugs, among other accessories to complete each space.

Styles and featured collections

The store organises part of its range by trends and styles, with named collections and editions. Among the lines and selections in the catalogue are Scandinavian, coastal, mid-century, industrial, urban modern, farmhouse and minimalist styles, as well as collections such as Three Birds, Velvet, Rattan or the walnut tones selection. There are also themed sections such as kids' bedroom, study equipment or hallway and entryway furniture.

Online shopping, availability and delivery

Mocka operates as an online store and allows customers to check availability and delivery options by entering their postcode, so they can see stock and local alternatives for their area. The company states it delivers to the front door and maintains a support service based in Australia. The site also includes a store finder and an order tracking section, as well as information on shipping and returns.

Customer service and shopping services

Support is provided via live chat, phone and email. The site shows extended hours during the gifting season, with chat and calls available from 7:00 to 17:00 AEST Monday to Friday, and general hours from 9:00 to 17:00 AEST Monday to Friday. The store offers gift vouchers and accepts payment methods such as Afterpay, Zip Money and Latitude, in addition to the usual online shopping options.

Presence in Australia and New Zealand

In addition to its operations in Australia, Mocka has a specific section for New Zealand. The site also mentions its connection with Adairs and Focus on Furniture, and publishes content such as the brand story, reviews and a blog.
