Aussie Blooms

Aussie Blooms, online florist delivering across Australia

Aussie Blooms is an online flower shop that sells fresh flower bouquets, designer arrangements and gift hampers with delivery throughout Australia. Its catalogue is organised by occasion, product type and price range, and includes add-ons such as cards, balloons, teddy bears, vases and chocolates.

Flower collections and arrangements

The floral range is grouped into several lines. The Mason Jar collection features bouquets arranged in glass jars, with options such as Blooms of Love in Mason Jar, What a Treat in Mason Jar, Peaceful Clouds in Mason Jar and Beautiful in Blue in Mason Jar. The Designer collection brings together arrangements described as a curated, fashion-forward selection, handcrafted by floral designers, with pieces such as Delicate Elegance, Pretty in Pink, Hearts Delight and Native Flowers Bouquet Designer Collection II and III. The Native Flowers collection focuses on Australian native flora.

Among the standout products are Bunches Mixed Collection I, The Birthday Bundle, Wild Spirits and Designer Sympathy Collection I. Bouquets are available in Classic, Deluxe and Grand sizes, with variations in stem count and price. For example, the catalogue details a 10-stem Classic bouquet with a composition of purple alstroemeria, hot pink carnations, white chrysanthemum and Israeli ruscus, presented in a glass jar and made to order.

Occasions and gift hampers

The shop organises its products by occasion: birthdays, anniversaries, get well, sympathy and funerals, new baby, thank you, housewarming, love and romance, Mother's Day and Father's Day. In addition to flowers, it offers gift hampers in categories such as birthday, gourmet, sweet, snack, fruit, coffee and tea, beer and wine, wine and champagne, and corporate hampers. The catalogue can also be filtered by price, from under $40 to over $150 Australian dollars.

Delivery and service terms

Aussie Blooms states that it delivers nationwide. The site details three options: standard delivery for AUD 14.95, next-day delivery for AUD 17.95 where available, and same-day delivery for AUD 19.95 in eligible areas for orders placed before 1 p.m. local time. Standard delivery is free on orders from AUD 99.95 and same-day delivery is free on orders from AUD 148.95. The company notes that it selects flowers directly from local growers and that each arrangement is prepared by hand.

Flower care

The website includes care instructions: flowers travel packaged and may need time to recover after delivery. It recommends cutting about 2.5 cm off the base of each stem at an angle, removing leaves that would sit below the waterline, placing the flowers in a clean vase with the included flower food and changing the water every two days. It also advises keeping them away from direct sunlight, draughts, heat sources and ripening fruit.

Add-ons and editorial content

Alongside bouquets, the catalogue includes additional items such as greeting cards, themed balloons, teddy bears, hand-blown glass vases, Belgian truffles and bottles of Wolf Blass Shiraz Cabernet and Chardonnay. The company also runs a blog with content such as a corporate gift planning checklist for Australian teams and an article on affordable flower delivery options in Australia.
