Dreamtone: high-end guitar giveaways in Australia

Dreamtone presents itself as an Australian guitar giveaway platform based in New South Wales (NSW). The company runs licensed trade promotions and targets musicians and guitar enthusiasts looking to get their hands on high-end instruments. According to its own description, it has given away over $350,000 in prizes and has more than 40 winners across the country.

Subscription model and access to giveaways

Access to the giveaways is provided through the purchase of a one-time payment package that includes 4K resolution desktop wallpapers. This package grants entries into the high-end guitar competitions and, according to the company, also exclusive discounts from partner brands. The platform describes itself as a rewards club for musicians and guitar enthusiasts.

Featured giveaway: third anniversary

To mark its third anniversary, Dreamtone promoted a giveaway whose main prize combined a Gibson 1959 Les Paul 60th Anniversary, a Fender Custom Shop 1959 Strat, a Marshall 1974X amplifier and accessories. The approximate value of the package was stated at $24,999. The company notes that participants usually have to choose between a Les Paul or a Stratocaster, but on this occasion the winner would receive both instruments.

Transparency and draw method

According to the information published, winners of the trade promotions are selected using the randomdraws.com.au platform, an independent certified service that the company describes as government-trusted. Results are announced live via social media streams and are subsequently shared on the website and in email newsletters. Winners are contacted directly by mobile using the details provided at sign-up.

Requirements and prize claiming

To enter, it is mandatory to complete all the details requested in the entry form; otherwise, the participant may breach the terms and conditions and be excluded. It is not necessary to be present at the live draw. The winner has two weeks from the giveaway end date to claim the prize; if contact cannot be made, the prize is redrawn at the end of that period.

Licences and scope of operation

Dreamtone states that it operates with trade promotion licences in all necessary Australian states, with the exception of South Australia. The company is based in New South Wales and its Australian Business Number (ABN) appears in the website footer.

Additional platform content

In addition to the giveaways, the site includes blog sections, a winners page and a shop with categories such as pedals, picks, pre-owned guitars, strings and wallpapers. The platform also offers high-definition wallpaper packages as part of its subscription offering.
