Store DJ

Store DJ, DJ equipment and pro audio in Australia

Store DJ is an Australian chain dedicated to the sale of DJ equipment, pro audio, live sound and lighting. Its catalogue is presented as the largest in Australia in these categories and is sold both in physical stores and through its website. The company operates eight locations across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, and identifies itself as an authorised dealer in Australia, with no grey imports.

Catalogue for DJs, music production and events

The range is organised into three main areas according to the user profile. For DJs and live performers, it brings together equipment from the leading electronic music brands, designed to prepare and perform sets. For music producers, it includes hardware, software, studio furniture and accessories aimed at composition, recording and mixing. For venues and events, it offers a selection of live sound and lighting products chosen by industry specialists.

The catalogue is completed with sections for DJ equipment, studio gear, live sound, lighting and lasers, headphones and accessories, as well as sections for brands, new arrivals and sale products. The store also sells gift vouchers redeemable online and offers DJ booth hire.

Music production training with Liveschool

Store DJ promotes music production courses delivered by Liveschool, an Ableton-certified centre, with a studio in Sydney and an online option. The training is structured into three pathways: an introduction to music production for those starting with no experience, a foundations course covering the full Ableton Live workflow, and a programme focused on releasing finished tracks. Each pathway is paired with a recommended equipment setup featuring brands such as Audio-Technica, Arturia, Novation and UA.

The website stated that, when enrolling in an eligible course with the code STOREDJ, the student receives Store DJ credit applicable to a recommended rig or any other product. The intake announced at that time was Intro to Music Production, starting on 16 October with limited places, and the enrolment offer with the code ended on Monday 19 October.

The online orders team handles product enquiries and order assistance from Monday to Friday 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays 10:00 to 17:00, Melbourne time.
