Hermitage Bay is a five-star all-inclusive resort located in Jennings New Extension, Jennings, St. Marys, Antigua & Barbuda. The resort offers four accommodation options. These include beachfront suites, sea view garden suites and hillside villas with private pool, some set among tropical vegetation with views of the Caribbean Sea. All suites have air conditioning, an outdoor shower, a stand-alone bathtub and a complimentary minibar restocked daily. The wooden decks feature sun loungers, plantation-style chairs, double day beds, swings and tables and chairs for outdoor dining.

Dining and Drinks

The dining offering includes local and international specialities prepared by Chef Desroy, with dishes based on produce from the resort's own garden. Lobster takes centre stage at the newly opened beach club, where it is served with your feet in the sand. Signature drinks include the Hermitage Rum Punch and the spicy passion fruit margarita. The resort hosts live music, with calypso and steelband soca.

Wellbeing and Activities

The Garden Spa is located on the hillside, among frangipanis, with views of the Caribbean Sea, and offers wellbeing rituals and treatments with therapists. Facilities include a yoga pavilion, a gym and the option of massages on the suite terrace. The activities programme includes Pilates classes, local cooking classes and water sports. The resort also organises weddings, honeymoons and experiences, and offers excursions such as a visit to Barbuda to taste Nobu's black cod on Princess Diana beach.

Awards

Condé Nast Traveler's selection included Hermitage Bay on its Gold List 2026, a list of 14 hotels in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The Michelin Guide awarded it two Keys for an "exceptional stay". The company also notes that it has received the Triple Crown, which recognises its presence on the Hot List, the Gold List and the Readers' Choice Awards, as well as several Readers' Choice Awards voted for by Condé Nast Traveler readers.

Service Philosophy

The staff, described by the resort itself as a local family, includes many employees who have been with the house for more than a decade. The property sums up its approach in the concept of "Ubuntu", understood as humanity towards others, and presents the stay as a welcome to an island home.
