This town is built over “T’oqokachi”, an ancient Inca neighborhood, which is characterized by its narrow and steep streets as wells as the houses which already preserve its construction of colonial style.
This town is located two blocks from Plaza de Armas (Main Square) of Cusco and is traditionally known as the “Barrio de los Artesanos” (artisans’ quarter) of the city.
Here, you can find sculpture, painting, textiles, carpentry work, jewelry and even workshops through a walking tour of the neighborhood.
