Azusa Pacific University Global
Fully online nonprofit Christian university, renamed from Los Angeles Pacific University in 2026, serving adult learners with associate, bachelor’s, graduate, and teaching-credential programs.
About Azusa Pacific University Global
Los Angeles Pacific University was renamed Azusa Pacific University Global (APU Global) in 2026. It remains a distinct, independently accredited nonprofit university, affiliated by mission and name with Azusa Pacific University. APU Global is designed for adults balancing study with work, family, or service: all of its degrees are fully online, courses run in focused eight-week sessions, and the university lists six start dates a year. If you want regular campus classes, residence life, or in-person labs, this is not that experience; those options belong to Azusa Pacific University’s separate campus-based programs.
Programs for working adults
APU Global’s current program directory lists 21 online degrees and credentials across business, health sciences, education and humanities, psychology, public administration, and organizational leadership. Options include associate degrees in humanities and health sciences; bachelor’s programs in applied psychology, liberal studies and teaching, organizational leadership, business administration, public health, criminal justice, digital marketing, health sciences, healthcare administration, and supply chain management; and graduate degrees such as an MBA, MA in psychology, MPA, MPH, and leadership programs. It also offers a California multiple-subject teaching credential and pre-nursing coursework. Check the program’s prerequisites and intended career or licensing pathway before choosing a credential: the same university’s business, public-health, education, and health-science degrees lead toward different next steps. The online program directory shows the current list, delivery format, and credit price.
The model is built around short, asynchronous courses that can fit around work, with transfer credit and prior learning reviewed to help eligible students avoid repeating material. Ask for a written evaluation of your transcripts and military or professional training before relying on an estimated completion time. Students who need frequent face-to-face interaction, laboratory access, or local clinical placements should compare the program’s online structure with an in-person or hybrid alternative. APU Global is part of the APU ecosystem, but the two institutions have separate admissions, academic governance, and accreditation records.
Accreditation and institutional identity
WSCUC lists APU Global as accredited, nonprofit, and eligible to distribute federal student aid. Its current institutional entry identifies the active main-campus location as 300 N. Lone Hill Avenue, Suite 200, San Dimas, California. The university’s 2026 name change did not merge it into Azusa Pacific University; they remain two separately accredited institutions. APU Global’s own description says its programs are fully online. This means the San Dimas location in the accreditation directory should not be mistaken for a residential campus or a place where students attend ordinary classes. Confirm the issuing institution shown on your offer and diploma, particularly if you are comparing APU Global with Azusa Pacific University in Azusa.
2026–27 tuition and financial aid
The 2026–27 catalog lists undergraduate tuition at $535 per credit and graduate tuition at $680 per credit. At 24 undergraduate credits across four eight-week sessions, the university’s published off-campus cost-of-attendance estimate lists $12,840 for tuition and fees; its estimated books, food and housing, transportation, personal costs, and loan fees bring that eight-month budget to $41,272. This is a planning estimate, not a bill: actual course load, transfer credit, aid, and living arrangements change the total. Graduate programs vary by credit requirement; the FAQ estimates 30–42 credit master’s degrees at $20,400–$28,560 in tuition before other expenses. Request an individualized transfer-credit and cost estimate before enrolling.
Eligible students can apply through FAFSA for federal grants and loans and may qualify for California state aid. APU Global also describes institutional scholarships, private scholarships, employer payment arrangements, and private loans. For 2026–27 it publishes a 10% tuition discount for military-connected students; the institution also accepts GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon benefits for eligible service members and veterans. Aid is not automatic: submit the FAFSA using school code 042788, complete any requested verification, and ask how much of a package is grant or scholarship money versus a loan. Its financial aid page and the current catalog explain requirements and budget assumptions. Most undergraduate course e-books are included, and the university says it charges no application or technology fee; check the current catalog for all program-specific charges.
San Dimas record and current contact office
The WSCUC directory continues to list the institution’s main-campus location at 300 N. Lone Hill Avenue, Suite 200, San Dimas, CA 91773—the city in the original inventory. APU Global currently publishes its mailing and contact office at 2100 E. Route 66, Suite 101, Glendora, CA 91740. Its programs are online, and the university does not describe either address as a student classroom campus. The Glendora public office listing shows Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., closed on weekends; the university’s phone support is published for weekdays, with hours extending to 6:30 p.m. Pacific. Call before traveling; the San Dimas directory location’s visitor hours are not published. APU Global’s general contact number is (855) 527-2768, and the enrollment team can be reached at admissions@apuglobal.edu. There are no additional teaching branches to visit; learning is online.
What students say about the online experience
Recent student comments under the former Los Angeles Pacific University name often value the flexibility for working adults, approachable instructors, and responsive academic advising. Some online learners would like more virtual opportunities to meet classmates and more tutoring or academic support in certain subjects. Those comments are individual experiences and may differ between programs; ask your enrollment counselor how often you will hear from faculty and your success coach, what tutoring is available in your courses, and how group discussions work in an asynchronous class. Read recent student comments under the former name alongside the program’s current support and transfer-credit policies.
To compare degree options, request an estimate using your actual transfer history, and ask whether your intended profession requires state authorization or a separate license. The university’s request-information and counselor page connects prospective students with admissions and financial-services staff; use the online application when you are ready to begin. Confirm your start date, total credit requirement, and complete aid offer before accepting federal loans.
