Battle Beaver Customs

Hand-built custom controllers from Richardson, Texas

Battle Beaver Customs is a US company dedicated to customized first-party video game controllers. Its catalogue covers PlayStation 5 (DualSense), PlayStation 4 (DualShock), Xbox Series X, PC and GameCube platforms, and the company states that each controller is hand-built by its technicians with personalized modifications and styles. The operation is based in Richardson, Texas, and the site presents the brand as a leading provider of custom performance gaming equipment.

The range is organized around three ways of buying: a controller designer where the buyer configures performance upgrades, colours and aesthetics; Quick Pick Controllers, preset performance loadouts with faster production times; and Pre-Built Controllers, units ready to ship with upgrade and aesthetic combinations otherwise only available through the designers.

Performance upgrades and proprietary components

The company highlights four signature technologies under its "Why Choose Battle Beaver" section: Smart Buttons, Smart Triggers, Magneto Mechs and Thumbstick Tension. These upgrades are combined across the different controller tiers, from an entry-level option aimed at players starting in competition or streaming to configurations described as the standard and the pinnacle of its performance line.

• Magneto Mechs
• Rear Buttons
• Smart Triggers & Bumpers
• Smart Face Buttons & Smart D-Pad
• Thumbstick tension adjustment

The Quick Picks line is structured in tiers — Super Stock, Basic Pick, Pro Pick FPS, Smartpad FPS, Pro Pick Claw and Smartpad Claw — with the claw-grip models aimed specifically at players who use that grip style and want speed and control. The comparison tool on the site lets buyers check which upgrades each tier includes.

Project Marius: DIY builds and 8K polling

Battle Beaver sells Marius Board-based builds for PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series X, plus MH5 and MH4 DIY builders and a Marius DIY kit with installation guidance. According to the company, the Marius Board adds advanced customization, native 8K polling on PC and drift-resistant precision, and in the Xbox version it enables web-based customization. The site also offers Marius Quick Picks, Marius Pre-Builts and a Marius Board calibration section.

Repairs, send-in service and spare parts

Beyond new builds, the company runs a send-in service for professional repair and performance upgrades covering both older and current generations: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Marius, Xbox Series X, Xbox One S and GameCube. A warranty policy and RMA process is documented separately. The spare-parts catalogue includes PS5, PS4, Xbox and GameCube components, PlayStation and Xbox thumbsticks, thumbstick mechanisms, USB cables, tools, protective cases and DualSense Edge modules.

For GameCube and Switch Pro, the shop lists Phob drop-in boards, GCC trigger plugs, Beaver Pads, RCP Beaver Blades, a tournament stick by CM Beaver and Battle Beaver hats. Additional resources include remap instructions, overclocking information and D-button guidance.

Esports partnerships and team collaborations

The site names OpTic Gaming, FaZe, Vegas Miami Heretics, Dignitas and SquishyMuffinz as collaborations, and displays a dedicated Battle Beaver x FaZe section alongside a block of official partners. The company describes its hardware as trusted by competitive players worldwide.
