About Regis University
Regis University is a private, nonprofit Jesuit Catholic university in northwest Denver. Its main campus combines traditional undergraduate study with graduate and professional programs, while adult learners can choose evening, accelerated and online formats. Regis organizes academics through Regis College, the Anderson College of Business and Computing, and the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions. That range makes it useful to compare the delivery format and the specific school behind a degree before applying: the campus experience, schedule and costs vary considerably by program.
Programs and learning options
Regis offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Areas include nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, counseling, business, computer science and cybersecurity, education, humanities, social sciences and the natural sciences. Traditional undergraduates can explore majors such as biology, nursing, computer science, business administration, psychology, criminology, environmental science and creative writing. Graduate and doctoral options include the Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Nursing Practice, counseling and nursing degrees, as well as graduate programs in business, computing and education. Some professional programs have separate admission requirements and fees, so confirm details with the academic department. The official program finder lists the current degrees and formats.
The flagship Northwest Denver campus is at 3333 Regis Boulevard, Denver, CO 80221. Regis also operates an Interprofessional Health Site at 500 E. 84th Avenue, Suite B-12, Thornton, CO 80229, with learning facilities for counseling, occupational therapy and nursing skills labs. The Thornton site also houses a community counseling center offering low-cost services. Online programs extend the university’s reach beyond these two physical learning locations.
Tuition, scholarships and financial aid
For the 2026–27 academic year, traditional full-time undergraduate tuition is listed at $47,490 for fall and spring; part-time undergraduate tuition is $1,583 per credit. Adult undergraduate rates range from $599 to $975 per credit, and graduate rates from $679 to $1,216 per credit, depending on the program. Housing, meals, books and program fees can add to the bill, and nursing or other clinical programs may have separate charges. Use the university’s current cost-of-attendance pages to estimate the particular program rather than treating one rate as universal.
Regis says 99% of traditional first-year students receive some form of financial aid. Many first-year and transfer applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships when they apply; eligible on-campus undergraduates may receive up to $32,000 per year, renewable for up to four years subject to the award terms. Graduates of Catholic and Jesuit high schools may be considered for additional stackable awards. The Road to Regis last-dollar scholarship is available to qualifying dependent first-year and transfer students who are Colorado residents and may cover tuition for up to four years. Some endowed and talent awards require separate applications. Complete the FAFSA and compare the written aid offer with tuition, fees and living costs; award amounts and renewal conditions differ by student.
Campus feel and what students say
Public student discussions often point to small classes, approachable professors and a close academic community as reasons students appreciate Regis. Other commenters describe a more mixed fit: program quality and satisfaction can differ by department, and some people question whether the cost matches their goals. Comments about the surrounding neighborhood and day-to-day transportation also vary. Treat these as individual experiences, not a verdict on every student’s experience; visit the campus, test the commute and ask students in the program you are considering about advising, class size and access to faculty.
The Denver campus lists general hours Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with some offices keeping different schedules. The main campus numbers are (303) 458-4100 and (800) 388-2366. Admissions schedules weekday visits at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. by registration, with monthly Saturday tours. Regis is accredited institutionally by the Higher Learning Commission and lists additional professional accreditations for programs such as nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy and counseling. Prospective students should check that the accreditor matches their intended degree and future licensing needs.
For a first conversation with Admissions or to submit an application, use the university’s official application page. Before committing, request a program-specific cost estimate, ask how clinical placements or internships are arranged, and compare the aid offer with the schedule and campus location that fit your plans.
