Moccamaster USA

Moccamaster USA and the Technivorm pour-over brewers

Moccamaster USA is the United States-facing shop for Moccamaster coffee brewers, the machines designed by founder Gerard C. Smit in 1968 and produced by the Dutch factory Technivorm. The company presents the brewers as a way to make café-quality coffee at home quickly and easily, and frames them as equipment built to last a lifetime.

The name Technivorm derives, according to the company, from the Dutch words for technique and design, reflecting what it describes as a legacy of form and function. The factory is described as being located centrally in the heart of the Netherlands and serving customers worldwide.

Brewer ranges on offer

The catalogue is organised around several brewer families, which the site lists as distinct shopping categories:

• Glass carafe brewers
• Thermal carafe brewers
• Single-cup brewers, marketed as Cup-One
• Café and office brewers

Alongside the brewers, the store carries grinders, including the KM5 grinder, as well as coffee, carafes and a selection of accessories and parts.

Accessories, parts and refurbished units

Beyond complete machines, Moccamaster USA stocks replacement parts, coffee brewing accessories, and filters and cleaning products. Carafes are sold separately as well. The shop also maintains a refurbished Moccamaster section and a gift guide for buyers looking for a present.

Warranty and customer support

The company states that all Moccamaster coffee brewers come with what it calls an industry-leading five-year warranty. A support area groups product manuals, product registration, a repair request form, returns information and a frequently asked questions section. The site also invites retailers to apply to become a Moccamaster retailer.

Buying help and editorial content

For customers unsure which model suits them, the site offers a quiz titled "Which Moccamaster is Right for You?". A separate articles section covers practical topics such as getting started with the brewer and with the KM5 grinder, the science behind a good cup, the importance of grind size, how a Moccamaster can save money, and the history of Technivorm Moccamaster.

Sustainability and longevity

The company describes its brewers as handmade in the Netherlands from high-quality, sustainable components and built to last, positioning durability and repairability as central to its approach. Replacement parts and a repair request channel are part of that offer.

Ordering and shipping

The online shop indicates free ground shipping on brewers and grinders, and states that orders ship the next business day. Stock status is shown per product as in stock or out of stock.
