Flash Moving & Storage

Local and long-distance moving from Greater Boston

Flash Moving & Storage is a Boston-area relocation company serving households and businesses across Greater Boston. The company says it has operated since 2017 and handles local moves, interstate relocations, packing and storage. Its service area includes Boston, Cambridge, Brookline, Newton, Somerville, Quincy and Waltham, with longer routes advertised to cities such as New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

Services for different kinds of moves

The company works with apartments, family homes, offices and other commercial spaces. Its listed services extend to furniture, pianos, fitness equipment and other heavy items. Customers can request full or partial packing, wooden crates for valuable possessions, unpacking and furniture removal. It also advertises short- and long-term storage, including temperature-controlled options, and accepts enquiries for same-day or last-minute moves where availability allows.

Flash Moving & Storage says its standard moving offer includes labour and equipment, furniture wrapping, basic insurance, disassembly and reassembly, floor protection, tolls and fuel charges, plus a certificate of insurance where required. The company describes itself as licensed and insured and lists US DOT, MC and Massachusetts permit numbers on its website; customers planning a move can check the terms and coverage in their own quote.

Planning a move

Its online estimate form asks for the origin and destination, stairs or lift access, moving date and the size of the property or shipment. The company offers in-home and virtual estimates and says it can accommodate rescheduling. This gives customers a way to describe practical constraints before receiving a price rather than relying on a generic rate. The website also provides a moving-day guide and articles on preparing for a relocation.
