Abba Patio

Abba Patio: online retail of umbrellas, canopies and patio furniture

Abba Patio operates an online store built around outdoor shade and outdoor living products. Its catalogue is organised into three main blocks: shade (parasols and umbrellas), shelter (carports and pop-up canopies) and patio furniture, complemented by accessories such as umbrella bases and canopy replacement parts. The company presents itself as offering accessible outdoor products, and the site lists free shipping on all orders, returns within 30 days of purchase and a warranty service of up to 24 months.

Umbrellas organised by type, size and shape

The shade range is the most developed part of the catalogue. It is grouped by umbrella type into market umbrellas, cantilever umbrellas, tilt umbrellas and beach umbrellas, alongside a general parasols section. Shoppers can also filter by size, with models listed at 7.5, 8, 9, 10 and 11 feet, and by shape, distinguishing round from rectangular canopies.

Named product lines include the Lyon market umbrella in 7.5, 9 and 11-foot versions, the Lyon 2023 model with push-button tilt and crank, the Lyon Classic, an apple-shaped market umbrella, and the Vienna and Malta cantilever offset umbrellas, the latter in 10-foot size. The Maza 10-foot cantilever umbrella also appears in the listing. Many models are offered in multiple colourways, ranging from a handful of options to more than twenty on the 9-foot Lyon umbrella.

Carports and pop-up canopies

Under the shelter heading, the store sells carports in configurations with six or eight legs, including versions with PVC windows, roof-only variants and an all-close canopy carport with eight legs. Pop-up canopies are offered in 10x10 and 13x13 sizes, with slant-leg or straight-leg frames, folding designs and some models fitted with four wheels for portability.

Patio furniture and bundled sets

The furniture section is divided between lounge and relaxation pieces and dining and entertaining pieces. The catalogue includes a four-piece outdoor fire pit set, an outdoor sofa set, folding beach chairs, a dining table set, a three-piece bistro set and a foldable side table. Several of these items were listed at 50% off at the time of writing this profile.

Abba Patio also groups products into prepared bundles that combine umbrellas with bases or furniture with shade. Examples include the Vienna cantilever umbrella with compact base, the 11-foot Lyon market umbrella with compatible base, the 7.5-foot Lyon umbrella with flower base, a folding beach chair and side table set, a dining table with Vienna cantilever umbrella and base, an outdoor sofa and dining table set, and an outdoor sofa paired with the 11-foot Lyon market umbrella.

Promotions and purchase conditions

The site advertised a clearance event with 50% off and a final-stock notice while supplies last, along with a tiered promotion offering $8 off a $70 spend, $18 off $110 and $30 off $160. Payment methods listed are debit or credit cards, PayPal and other secure payment platforms. The store also runs a points rewards programme and an affiliate programme, and publishes a blog covering topics such as comparing patio umbrellas with pergolas, designing an outdoor space and knowing when to replace a patio umbrella.

Under the slogan "One Order, One Tree", the company states that each purchase is linked to a tree-planting initiative, without further detail on the programme in the available material.

Customer feedback shown on the site

The website displays several customer comments. One buyer describes repeated purchases of the same umbrella and its resistance to hot weather; another highlights the ease of pivoting and tilting a cantilever model; a third praises the response received by email when a missing base caused an umbrella to fall over. These are individual testimonials reproduced by the retailer and do not constitute an independent assessment of the company.
