Pears Photography

Pears Photography: weddings, portraits and commercial work from a Nottinghamshire studio

Pears Photography is a photography business led by Phillipa, who presents herself as living and breathing the studio. The company states it was established in 2012 and has grown since then to operate a studio in Nottinghamshire, with weddings as its main focus in the Yorkshire and Midlands area.

The stated aim is twofold: to create memories for private clients and to produce commercial images that show off another business's professionalism and qualities. The site frames the work around a single idea, capturing lasting memories, applied both to family celebrations and to corporate assignments.

Wedding photography in Yorkshire and the Midlands

Weddings are the studio's central line of work, covering ceremonies in the UK and international destinations. The site's wedding section is illustrated with named couples and dates from 2024, including Mr & Mrs Harrison (30.08.24), Mr & Mrs Wright (09.08.2024), Mr & Mrs Lynch (08.08.2024), Mr & Mrs Housley (31.07.2024), Mr & Mrs North and Mr & Mrs Snow (both 20.07.2024), the Kelly's (20.06.2024) and Mr & Mrs Pantry (22.06.2024). Several of these entries reference venues and suppliers by their social media handles, among them Lazaat, Sun Pavilion, Brides of Bakewell, Styrrup Hall Golf, Aston Hall Hotel and Manor Farm Oldcotes.

The diary for 2025 and 2026 was described as open at the time of writing, with bookings being taken for those years.

Family, events and studio sessions

Beyond weddings, the studio lists family photography, described as memories worth capturing, and an events service covering christenings, birthdays, parties, corporate events and engagements. Studio sessions are presented under the headings of portraits, families, newborns and cake smashes.

The published feed gives a sense of this side of the work: a first birthday shoot, a child's fourth birthday, a newborn announcement, a family growing from four to five, and a monthly summary noting seven weddings and ten portrait sessions in June. A team of photographers and videographers is available for all events, according to the company.

Commercial assignments

On the commercial side, Pears Photography lists headshots, product photography, projects, industrial work and architectural photography. The stated purpose is to produce images that enhance another business and convey its professionalism and qualities, a positioning that places the studio alongside corporate and industrial clients rather than only private celebrations.

A studio at Manor Farm

The business gives its address as Manor Farm, Blyth, Oldcotes, Worksop, S81 8JA, and describes the premises as a beautiful studio in Nottinghamshire. The site also carries a showreel and a client photos section alongside the service pages.
