BWT UK Limited

BWT UK Limited: workplace water and coffee supply across Britain

BWT UK Limited supplies drinking water and coffee equipment to British workplaces and households. Its catalogue covers mains-fed point-of-use coolers, bottled water coolers, drinking water fountains, instant hot, cold and sparkling water taps, hot water boilers and accessories, alongside a coffee line built around VITRO bean-to-cup machines, KLIX Element instant vending and coffee consumables. Equipment is offered in tabletop and free-standing formats.

The company describes itself as a British entity owned by BWT and states explicitly that it is not owned by, affiliated with or part of the Culligan group, a clarification it repeats on its About page because of confusion around the brand name internationally. It presents itself as focused solely on the British market, sourcing water from protected British springs and handling its own decisions and customer calls in the UK.

Water for business and for homes

The water side of the business is split into three audiences: businesses, homes and the trade in consumables. For organisations, the range includes mains-fed and bottled coolers, with bottled water supplied in 18.5L and 11L formats. Households can order delivered water as well. The site also lists city and regional water cooler pages for Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Newcastle, Scotland, Wales, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester.

All customers are described as receiving BWT Magnesium Mineralized water, presented as a patented, marketing-leading treatment intended for taste and drinking experience.

Coffee as a second line

A dedicated coffee-for-business division offers bean-to-cup machines and instant vending options, plus coffee consumables and accessories. The company frames this as the same service model applied to the morning brew, extending its workplace offer beyond hydration.

Servicing, technicians and coverage

Maintenance is included in the service. BWT UK Limited states that it uses in-house technicians rather than outsourcing, with nationwide coverage intended to limit downtime. Each scheduled visit includes checkups and sanitisation, and the company says customers receive itemised reports of every inspection and action taken. It argues that frequent servicing reduces the risk of biofilm and contaminant build-up, undetected faults or leaks, unexpected breakdowns, compliance and audit problems, and emergency repair costs.

Delivery and professional installation are offered free of charge, with sanitisation carried out by certified cooler experts at a date and time agreed with the customer. Support is handled through a UK-based call centre reachable by online chat, telephone or a customer area.

Scale and industry membership

The company reports a distribution network covering the whole United Kingdom and deliveries of more than 1.3 million bottles a year, serving organisations from local enterprises to national brands. It is a member of the Water Dispenser & Hydration Association (WHA), the UK industry body, a membership it says requires adherence to British standards on hygiene, safety and customer service and is audited against national benchmarks.

Customer ratings and sustainability

The site states that 9 out of 10 customers rate the business as excellent on Trustpilot, and separately cites a 4.2/5 rating based on more than 2,600 reviews on its Trustpilot profile. It also positions its British water sourcing and delivery as a lower-carbon alternative, under the heading British Water, Lower Carbon.

Ordering and account changes

The company has consolidated online ordering onto a single website. Consumables orders are now placed through bwtwaterdispensers.co.uk, and existing customers are asked to activate their account by setting a new password using the same email address previously used on the old online store.
