Karlsten

Karlsten, an online pest control store run by E&G Products Limited

Karlsten is the commercial name under which E&G Products Limited sells pest control products online in the United Kingdom. The store is built around a catalogue organised by the animal or insect to be controlled, rather than by product family, so the range is presented as a set of targeted solutions for specific household and garden problems. The company describes its products as designed for domestic use and suitable for homes, gardens and outdoor areas when applied according to the instructions.

A catalogue organised by pest

The site groups its references under the heading "Pests & Products", with a count of items for each category. The listing shown at the time of collection included:

• Ants (6 products)
• Bed bugs (5)
• Birds (2)
• Cats & dogs (4)
• Cockroaches (1)
• Fleas (4)
• Foxes (1)
• Moles (2)
• Mosquitoes, flies & moths (6)
• Rats, squirrels, mice & rodents (11)
• Silverfish (4)
• Spiders (8)
• Wasps (6)

Slugs also appear as a pest category in the site navigation. The catalogue is further divided by product format, with sections for sprays, aerosols and traps, and a separate "Home & Garden" line.

Organic and biodegradable range

Alongside its conventional references, Karlsten markets an organic range presented as 100% biodegradable and sustainable. According to the company, this line uses natural ingredients that it positions as a replacement for insecticides. It is offered as a distinct shop section within the store.

Purchasing conditions and trade accounts

The store advertises fast free delivery and a 30-day returns policy, and publishes dedicated pages explaining delivery options and how to return goods, as well as terms and conditions. It also offers trade accounts aimed at professional buyers, separate from standard customer accounts.

Guidance content alongside the shop

The site includes a "Tips & Advice" section with articles on using its products, such as how ant killer spray works and when to apply it, how to deal with silverfish using a killer spray, how to choose a spider repellent for UK homes, and wasp nest killers marketed as acting instantly. These texts frame the products in relation to common household situations and seasonal behaviour of the pests.
