Rangemoors presents itself as a specialist in stoves and range cookers for the South West of England, covering Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset. The company operates two showrooms in Devon and combines retail of heating and cooking appliances with installation, flue and chimney design, and a national replacement parts service.

Stoves and fires on offer

The stove range is organised by fuel and product type. The catalogue lists wood-burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, bioethanol fires, cooking stoves, outdoor fireplaces, gas stoves and electric stoves. Brands represented include ACR, Blaze Harmony, Charnwood, Di Lusso, Esse, Everhot, Faber, Firepits UK, Focus Fires, Gazco, Hunter Stoves, Le Feu, Morso, Nordpeis, Onyx, Parkray, RAIS, Rayburn, RB73, Rocal, Stovax, Town & Country and Schiedel Isokern.

Range cookers

Range cookers are grouped by fuel: dual fuel, electric, gas, oil and wood burning. Brands listed for this category include Esse, Everhot, Falcon, La Cornue, Lacanche, Mercury, Rangemaster and Rayburn. The company states that its showroom holds over 25 range cookers from leading brands such as ESSE, Everhot, Lacanche, Rangemaster and Rayburn. The Everhot 120i is described as a heat-storage range cooker, and the Everhot electric stove is presented as an energy-efficient heat-storage range cooker design packaged as an electric room heater, hand-built in the Cotswolds, available in 21 colours and with an optional 20-litre oven capable of reaching up to 200º C.

Installation, flues and parts

Rangemoors offers an installation programme carried out by HETAS-qualified installers. The service is described as covering a free-of-charge site visit, installation, commissioning and sign off. The company also provides the design and supply of complete flue and chimney systems, and a national replacement parts backup service. A specialist flue and spares department is located at the Winkleigh showroom.

Fuel and accessories

The product catalogue extends to spares and accessories, flues and chimneys, and kiln-dried wood. Sustainably sourced kiln-dried logs are available for collection or delivery to most of the South West; the company notes that kiln-dried logs are easier to light and increase the efficiency and heat output of a stove.

Showrooms in Winkleigh and Aveton Gifford

Rangemoors operates two showrooms in Devon. The Winkleigh showroom displays over 100 appliances alongside the specialist flue and spares department. The Aveton Gifford showroom, listed as Westcountry Stoves, also offers a range of stoves, range cookers and outdoor ovens.
