Shuttercraft

Made-to-measure shutters and blinds fitted through a local network

Shuttercraft is a UK company specialising in interior window shutters and blinds made to order. Its model combines a national brand with local delivery: customers are directed to a local Shuttercraft expert rather than a sales representative from a national chain, and the process begins with a free home survey and postcode-based referral to the nearest specialist.

The company describes itself as one of the UK's largest shutter companies, a claim that appears in its own presentation of the business. It states that it supplies and fits premium made-to-measure products and that it is trusted by homeowners across the country.

Shutter styles for different windows and openings

The catalogue is organised around window types and room uses. Shutter options listed include full height, tier on tier, cafe style, solid, track and plantation shutters, as well as blackout versions. For specific openings the range covers bay windows, bi-fold windows, French doors, shaped and skylight windows, round, arched and triangle windows, and sash windows.

Beyond standard windows, the company lists shutter and shade room dividers and wardrobe door shutters. Shutters are also grouped by room, with dedicated ranges for bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, conservatories and dining rooms, and by colour, including black, brown, cream, grey and white.

Shutter materials and named collections

Shutter materials are presented under named collections: Antigua, Bermuda, Cuba, Fiji, Hawaii, Java, Portchester, Tonga and Samoa. These names distinguish the material options available within the made-to-measure range.

Blinds alongside the shutter range

Shuttercraft also offers blinds. The listed products are Albaro and Serino Venetian blinds, Parma Honeycomb blinds and Room Darkening blinds. As with the shutters, the blinds are presented by room inspiration covering living rooms, kitchens, conservatories, bedrooms and bathrooms.

Survey, quotation and installation

The stated process is a free home survey, followed by an accurate quotation arranged through the local expert, and professional fitting of the shutters. The company presents this sequence as part of its service, from first contact to the finished installation, and offers a brochure download for customers who want to review the range beforehand.

Warranty, membership and business details

Shuttercraft states that its products carry a 10 year warranty and that it is a member of the BBSA (British Blind and Shutter Association). It also publishes a sustainability section on its site. The company operates as Shuttercraft Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom, and runs a franchise model, with franchise opportunities advertised alongside its network of local locations.

The site also carries a seasonal promotion, described as Black November savings of up to 25% off, presented as a limited-period offer at the time of writing this profile.
