Total Moving Solutions

Total Moving Solutions: managed house removals from the UK to Europe and overseas

Total Moving Solutions is a removal company based near Birmingham that provides full move management for domestic relocations within the United Kingdom and for international moves to Europe and other destinations. The company describes its service as managing a move from start to finish, handling the documentation and coordination required for each relocation.

The team has a combined experience of more than 30 years in the removals industry. Each move is tailored to the client's personal needs, budget and requirements, and the company works with a network of partner removal firms. Most of these partners are accredited members of organisations such as the British Association of Removers (BAR) and the International Federation of International Movers (FIDI).

International and European removal services

For international relocations, Total Moving Solutions manages the entire process, including the completion of relevant documents in advance of the move. The service covers both households emigrating and individuals sending items abroad to friends or family. The company states that it ensures all relevant paperwork is completed ahead of the relocation.

For moves to Europe, the company offers a similar managed service. Clients send their requirements and a member of the team then coordinates the move from start to finish. The website lists specific destinations for European removals, including Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Austria. For Ireland, city-specific pages cover Dublin, Derry, Belfast, Galway, Cork, Bangor, Limerick, Waterford, Swords, Drogheda, Bray and Carlow. French destinations include Bordeaux, Lyon, Montpellier, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Paris, South of France, Strasbourg and Toulouse. Swiss cities listed are Basel, Bern, Biel/Bienne, Chur, Frauenfeld, Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Lucerne, Sion, St Gallen, Winterthur and Zurich.

Beyond Europe, the company arranges removals to Australia (with pages for Adelaide, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast), Canada, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, the UAE (Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Al Ain, Al Ruwais, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Khor Fakkan) and the USA. It also handles removals to the UK from the UAE.

Scottish destinations mentioned include Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Paisley, East Kilbride, Livingston, Dunfermline, Hamilton, Kirkcaldy, Perth, Inverness and Stirling.

The company also highlights specific routes such as removals from Ireland to Scotland and weekly moves from Belgium to the UK with full customs support.

How the service works

Total Moving Solutions operates as a move manager rather than a single removal fleet. It coordinates the move through its partner network, which the company says gives flexibility to overcome issues that may arise. Clients receive a tailored plan based on their needs and budget, and the company handles the logistics and paperwork. The stated aim is to provide efficient and cost-effective solutions for moves across the UK and beyond.

Additional services include MoveProtect enhanced liability coverage and a range of moving supplies, such as moving boxes and packaging materials.

Reputation and client feedback

The website displays a rating of "Excellent" based on 480 reviews posted on Google, as verified by Trustindex. The reviews include accounts of moves from Bristol to Dublin, Ireland to Germany, and shipments to the US. Clients mention the handling of customs paperwork and the responsiveness of the team. One reviewer notes that the company simplified the paperwork and dealt with customs efficiently. Another mentions that items arrived in good condition. These testimonials are individual experiences and are presented as such on the site.

Coverage and partnerships

The company's removal services extend across the UK, Europe and intercontinental destinations. Its partnerships with BAR and FIDI accredited removal companies underpin the international moves. The website also provides guides for moving to various countries, including Switzerland, Spain, France, Ireland, Norway, the UAE, Australia, Canada and the USA, among others.
