PaintOutlet

PaintOutlet: online paint retail with a trade-price focus

PaintOutlet is a UK-based online shop for interior and exterior paint and specialist coatings. Its catalogue is organised around walls, wood and furniture, roofs and sealers, and tarmac, and the site presents the range as premium coatings sold at trade prices with professional-grade finishes. Orders over £50 qualify for free shipping, and the shop states that it delivers quickly within the UK.

The company positions its offer around the claim of offering the highest grade products at the lowest costs, a promotional framing rather than an independently verified ranking.

Own and partner brands in the catalogue

The shop groups its stock under several brand names, some of which appear to be developed for or exclusive to the outlet:

• HQC paints, including anti-damp and exterior wall insulating lines
• InsOpaint, with an insulating and energy-saving paint
• Ultra and Thermalmix insulating paint ranges
• PRO, a professional-oriented range that includes an interior/exterior wall coating (S-Flex) and a Warmtouch metal paint
• Landlord's Paint, aimed at interior walls
• Evelyn Grant wood paint
• MR MOULD

Product categories on sale

Beyond standard emulsion and eggshell, the catalogue covers a set of problem-solving coatings: anti-mould, anti-damp and anti-condensation paints, chalkboard paint, kitchen and bathroom paint, insulation paint, roof paint and sealers, and tarmac paint. Colour tester pouches of 25 ml are also listed, allowing a shade to be checked before committing to a full tin.

Buying support and trade customers

The site separates pre-sales from after-sales support: pre-sales questions are handled through an online chat with operators, while after-sales issues go through a contact form. A questionnaire invites customers to specify whether they need pricing, technical answers or both, and to choose a preferred contact method by phone or email. The shop also runs a subscription list for product launches, offers and news, advertises an extra 15% off a first order for subscribers, and operates an affiliate programme. A section of decorating tutorials is announced as coming soon.
