Football Breaks: match tickets bundled with flights and hotels

Football Breaks is a travel agency operating through footballbreak.co.uk that builds complete trips around sporting fixtures. Its core product combines a match ticket with flights and accommodation in a single booking, and the site invites users to compose their own itinerary by choosing an event and specifying travel preferences before a final price is shown.

The company presents its booking as carrying a 100% financial guarantee and states that the customer rating displayed on the site is 9.3/10. It also advertises insured booking alongside the flight and hotel components.

Clubs and competitions covered

The catalogue is organised by clubs and by matches. Popular leagues listed are the Champions League and Europa League, and the club index runs alphabetically from AC Horsens and AC Milan through to Valencia CF and Viborg FF. It mixes sides from several countries, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Sevilla FC and Girona in Spain; AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Roma, Lazio, Napoli, Atalanta, Fiorentina, Torino, Bologna, Como and Hellas Verona in Italy; Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, Union Berlin, Hertha Berlin, Eintracht Frankfurt, Werder Bremen and Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany; Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord in the Netherlands; Benfica, Porto and Sporting CP in Portugal; Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyonnais and OGC Nice in France; and a broad set of Danish clubs such as FC Copenhagen, Brondby IF, Midtjylland, Aarhus GF, Randers FC, Odense BK, Silkeborg IF, Lyngby BK, AC Horsens, FC Nordsjælland, Sønderjyske Fodbold and Viborg FF. Beyond football: rugby, Formula 1 and NFL

Although football is the main focus, the site extends its event inventory to other sports. A menu section labelled More sports points to Rugby, Formula 1 and NFL, and the featured listings include a Grand Prix Italy – Monza fixture and NFL games such as Pittsburgh Steelers – New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots – Detroit Lions.

Rebooking service for schedule changes

Football Breaks offers a rebooking service aimed at fixtures whose date may move. According to the site, this includes dedicated support and guidance if the match date changes, and coverage of hotel amendment fees arising from a rescheduled match. The company describes the service as providing 100% coverage for match tickets and hotels together with a personal service.

Payment terms and pricing conditions

For featured matches the site allows customers to secure a place with 50% paid at the time of booking and the balance due six weeks before the event. Prices shown are based on two people. The company states that the price displayed after clicking to check a price is final and does not change at confirmation, and that no booking, administration or other additional costs are added. Payments by local methods or credit cards are said to carry no extra fee, while PayPal payments may include a transaction fee. Prices and availability are noted as variable between searches.

Examples in the catalogue at the time of writing included AC Milan – AC Monza in the Coppa Italia from £38, Real Betis – Deportivo de A Coruña from £59, Borussia Dortmund – Bayer Leverkusen from £232, the Italian Grand Prix at Monza from £303 and Pittsburgh Steelers – New Orleans Saints from £477.
