Totnes Tile, Kitchen & Bathroom Studio

Totnes Tile, Kitchen & Bathroom Studio: tiles, bathrooms and kitchens in South Devon

Totnes Tile, Kitchen & Bathroom Studio is an independent showroom on Babbage Road in Totnes, Devon, presenting wall and floor tiles, bathroom displays and kitchen furniture for homes and projects across South Devon. The business was established in 1999 and has grown from a 900 square foot studio in Torquay to a 7,000 square foot showroom on Totnes Industrial Estate, located just before the Royal Mail Depot.

The company presents itself as a place where customers can see, feel and compare products in person rather than relying on screen images, since colours, textures and finishes rarely look the same online. Its team offers advice intended to help customers choose products suited to their space, style and budget, whether they are planning a full renovation or gathering initial ideas.

Tile selection

The showroom displays a wide choice of wall and floor tiles, including porcelain, ceramic and natural stone, as well as handmade traditional tiles. Displays are arranged so that customers can compare colours, textures and finishes and explore different tile layouts before deciding. The range covers practical utility floors as well as more decorative options.

Bathrooms and designer brands

The bathroom department brings together products from a list of brands that includes Laufen, VitrA, Victoria + Albert, Roper Rhodes, Flair Showers, Novellini, Vado, Bette, Coalbrook and House of Rohl. A separate designer range highlights premium bathroom products from leading brands including Laufen and Coalbrook, selected for quality, design and finish. The showroom also presents bathroom displays that allow customers to examine fittings and finishing touches in person.

Kitchens and worktops

The recently remodelled kitchen section displays kitchen furniture, worktops, brassware and finishing touches. Brands named for this area include Masterclass Kitchens, The 1810 Company, AEG appliances, Abode sinks and taps, Quooker taps, Silestone worktops and Cosentino surfaces. Customers can open kitchen doors, browse worktop samples and see how smaller details bring a room together. Free design appointments are available for kitchen projects.

Something unique and finishing touches

Beyond standard ranges, the showroom offers a selection of distinctive tiles, bathroom pieces, kitchen details and finishing touches chosen for character and style, aimed at customers looking for something a little different.

Service and approach

The company describes customer service as central to its activity, with a team that listens to the project and guides customers through the choices without pressure. It works with a wide range of trusted suppliers and carefully selected brands, covering classic and timeless styles as well as more modern designs. Free kitchen or bathroom appointments can be arranged by telephone.
