Twinings

Tea by style and flavour

Twinings presents a broad range of teas and infusions, grouped so visitors can begin with the type of drink they enjoy. The catalogue includes English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Lady Grey, Darjeeling and Assam, alongside green tea, chai, rooibos, fruit and herbal blends, decaffeinated options and loose leaf tea. There are also cold-water infusions and matcha products. A buyer comparing blends should read the ingredients and caffeine information rather than relying solely on a name such as “wellbeing” or “sleep”. Preparation guidance can also affect taste, especially the water temperature and steeping time for delicate teas.

Wellbeing drinks and related products

The site groups some blends by intended occasion or need, with sections for winding down, digestion, energy and other themes. It also lists sparkling tea, hot chocolate, malt drinks, syrups, biscuits and confectionery. These are product categories, not guarantees of a particular health effect. For anyone avoiding a specific ingredient, the individual product label is more useful than a category heading. Twinings publishes articles and recipes that show how teas and infusions can be served hot, cold or in food and drinks.

Gifts and teaware

Gift choices include selection boxes, caddies, filled jars, hampers and seasonal collections. The teaware range covers teapots, mugs, cups, saucers and accessories. A gift set should be checked for its actual contents and pack size, especially where a photograph shows several varieties. The website also refers to tea experiences and masterclasses at its flagship store on the Strand in London. Visitors interested in an experience should check current dates and booking conditions before travelling.

Availability and customer care

The Twinings website has customer-care pages for FAQs, stockists, shipping and refunds. It displays a notice that online orders cannot currently be processed and directs customers to local retailers or Amazon. Shoppers should check the latest ordering status before building a basket. Trade customers and potential stockists have separate information on the site. Questions about the online service can be sent to twinings.direct@twinings.com.
