Floor Restore & More

Floor Restore & More: carpet, upholstery and hard floor cleaning from Tamworth

Floor Restore & More is a locally owned and operated cleaning business working out of Tamworth and covering the surrounding towns. It handles carpet and upholstery cleaning alongside hard floor cleaning and carpet restoration, for both commercial and residential customers. The service is run by a single technician who presents himself as trained and certified in current carpet and upholstery cleaning techniques.

The stated approach combines what the business describes as state-of-the-art equipment with eco-friendly solutions, with the aim of reviving carpets and furniture rather than replacing them.

Carpet and upholstery work

Carpet cleaning follows a fixed sequence of stages for every job: hoovering, pre-treatment, agitation, spot and stain removal, free deodorising, deep cleaning, and a final rinse and extraction. The same process is presented as a restoration service intended to lift deep-seated dirt, stains and odours and to extend the life of the carpet.

Upholstery cleaning and stain removal is offered separately, using what the business describes as gentle but effective methods for delicate fabrics, aimed at removing dirt, grime and stubborn stains from sofas and other upholstered items. Alongside the visible result, the service cites health-related effects of cleaning: elimination of dust mites, reduction of allergy symptoms, removal of pollutants and improved air quality.

Hard floors and grout

Hard floor cleaning is carried out with a Truvox Multiwash Pump II scrubber drier. Tiled floors and grout receive additional attention: beyond the machine pass, grout and tiles are worked with a dedicated grout cleaning chemical and a brush.

The business lists the floor types it cleans:

• Travertine, limestone, marble and granite
• Slate, ceramic and quarry tiles
• Laminate flooring
• Amtico, Karndean and safety floors

Hard floor work is not priced from a standard rate: the business states that all hard floor cleaning must be quoted following a viewing.

How the service is presented

The business emphasises personalised service, saying it listens to each client and tailors the work to specific requirements, and cites fair and competitive pricing without compromising quality. It also advertises flexible scheduling that includes emergency services, and a satisfaction guarantee under which unsatisfactory work is put right.

Its experience is described as extensive and spanning a wide range of problems, from stubborn stains on carpets and sofas to grime-filled grout in tiles. One testimonial reproduced on the site comes from a client who engaged the technician as a subcontractor for a commercial job: the client had advised replacing the carpet and did not expect the result achieved, and states the business will be used for future commercial work.

The service area centres on Tamworth and extends to Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Cannock, Atherstone, Hinckley, Measham, Coalville, Polesworth, Nuneaton, Ashby, Swadlincote, Burton, Coleshill, Burntwood and Market Bosworth. The business notes that this list is not exhaustive and that it will try to help where it can for addresses outside it.
