Furniture Sets

Furniture Sets, an online furniture retailer based in Stockport

Furniture Sets is an online furniture retailer operating through furnituresets.co.uk. The company belongs to the Bizforce Ltd group of companies and states that it was founded in 2004, describing itself as one of the more established UK online retail companies. Its catalogue centres on dining furniture and complementary pieces for the home, and the business presents itself as a UK-based operation with its own warehouse and staff.

Dining sets and the wider catalogue

The product range is organised around dining sets, with separate sections for dining tables, dining chairs, coffee tables, side tables and kid's beds. The site also groups a selection of best sellers. Among the items shown at the time of writing was a glass coffee table with a gold and acrylic frame, listed at a special price of £189.99 against a regular price of £299.99, a reduction the store presented as a 37% saving. The catalogue distinguishes between light wood and dark wood finishes.

Warehouse, stock and UK-based team

According to the company, everything listed on its sites is held in stock in its own 30,000 square foot warehouse at Goyt Mill in Stockport. The team, which the company says is entirely based at the mill in the UK, includes engineers, customer support staff and warehouse staff. Furniture Sets states that customer service, returns and warehousing are not outsourced.

Delivery, payment and collection

The store advertises free UK delivery using a specialist courier, and Klarna is offered as a payment option at checkout. The site also lists Click & Collect among its services, alongside pages covering returns information, order tracking, delivery information and reseller or wholesale enquiries. The company describes its site as designed and developed in the UK.

Group companies

Furniture Sets is presented as part of the Bizforce Ltd group. The site lists other group sites under the names Zipper Mobility Scooters, Miller & Mason, Fino Stone and Bogo.
