About Evliya Travels
Small-group trips shaped around heritage
Evliya Travels presents trips built around Islamic heritage, historic places and small-group company. It says many travellers join solo and highlights expert local guides, halal-friendly arrangements, two Evliya group leaders and time for prayer. The company says it began in 2024 to create the kind of organised journeys its founders wanted to take themselves, with planning and group logistics handled for participants. Its name refers to the 17th-century Ottoman traveller Evliya Çelebi and his ten-volume Seyahatname, or Book of Travels.
Tunisia departure in December 2026
The homepage lists a Tunisia group from 8 to 13 December 2026, flying from London Gatwick to Enfidha, with a group size of 12–15 and a starting price of £599. The proposed experience includes Friday prayer in Kairouan, sunset in Sidi Bou Said, visits including Carthage and El Jem, a four-star beachfront resort, breakfast and dinner each day, transport and transfers, guides and entry fees, and two group leaders. The page states that a £100 deposit secures a place, with the remaining balance payable in instalments through WeTravel; availability and full terms should be checked before booking.
Announced journeys for 2027
The company lists Oman for 31 January to 6 February 2027, with forts, wadis and mountains around Muscat and Nizwa, from £799. Uzbekistan is shown for 24–30 May, with Samarkand, Bukhara and Silk Road history; Montenegro is listed for 14–18 September, featuring the Bay of Kotor and Ottoman-era Adriatic towns. For the latter two trips the site invites visitors to join a priority list and does not yet show a final price. Dates, departure airports, itineraries and booking status should be reconfirmed with the organiser.
Planning, group support and traveller feedback
Evliya says its group leaders travel with each group from beginning to end, and its site describes private transport, local guides and organised hotels as part of the trips. It reports having hosted more than 130 travellers, delivered over nine group trips and explored six or more countries. The page displays a 4.3 Trustpilot score and explicitly says it does not perform checks on Trustpilot reviews. The site also shares traveller comments and photos from trips to Spain, Albania and Morocco.
Enquiries and booking
The site links to itineraries, booking pages and a priority list for forthcoming departures. It does not display a phone number in the source record; support@evliyatravels.co.uk is the listed email for enquiries. The Tunisia booking flow is presented as a secure payment through WeTravel. Travellers should read the itinerary, inclusions, cancellation conditions, room arrangements, flight details and payment schedule before paying a deposit.
