ECigarette Outlet: UK vaping retailer with online and high-street presence

ECigarette Outlet describes itself as one of the fastest growing e-cigarette and vape retailers in the UK, combining an online shop with physical retail locations. The company presents itself as having built a reputation for service, product expertise and breadth of selection across both channels. Its catalogue is organised around e-liquids, nicotine salts, kits and mods, tanks, coils, pods and accessories.

Under its own e-liquid heading the shop lists Critics Choice, Cloudzberg, Genie Juice, Just Juice, Konceptxix, Major Flavour, Peeky Blenders, Pop Stuff, Retro Sweets, Simply Slush, Slush Hour, T-Juice, Wake & Vape, Vampire Vape, VGOD and Zeus Juice. Hardware: kits, mods, tanks and pods

The hardware catalogue is divided into starter kits, advanced kits, box mods, pod kits, tanks, clearomisers and evods, glassomizers, sub-ohm tanks and nicotine shots. The shop also stocks pods and cartridges, and a dedicated section for coils covering Aramax, Aspire, Eleaf, Falcon, Freemax, Geekvape, Innokin, Joyetech, OBS, SMOK, Snowwolf, Uwell, Vaporesso and Voopoo. Accessories include batteries, chargers, drip tips, glasses and sleeves, wires and cotton.

In-store testing and staff experience

According to the company, its stores are staffed by what it calls ‘Vape-Angelists’, many of whom are former smokers who have switched from cigarettes to vaping. Customers are invited to visit any of the stores to test any liquid free of charge before buying. The company also states that staff can advise newcomers on choosing a first starter kit, on premium e-liquids and on accessories such as coils, chargers or replacement glass for tanks.

Delivery and ordering

Orders are shipped with Royal Mail 24, and delivery is free on purchases of £50 or more. The website states that products can be ordered 24/7 and that delivery is signed and tracked. The company presents its online delivery service as one of the fastest on the market.

Age restrictions and product warnings

The site states that products are not intended as nicotine replacement therapy or as smoking cessation products. They may contain nicotine, which is described as addictive, and are intended for existing smokers aged 18 or over as an alternative to tobacco cigarettes. The company says it carries out ID checks to verify that customers are over 18. It also warns that e-cigarettes should not be used by children or by people in ill health, that users with allergies to any ingredients should not use the products, and that anyone unsure about use should consult a doctor.
