HeCare

HeCare: lightweight mobility scooters and folding power chairs in the UK

HeCare is a UK-based online shop specialising in lightweight, folding mobility equipment. Its catalogue is organised around three main families: mobility scooters, power chairs and travel scooters, with a separate section for parts and batteries. The range is aimed at adults who need help getting around and who value portability, since most models are presented with folding mechanisms and low weights.

The company describes its electric mobility scooters for adults in the UK as including Class 2 and Class 3 models, a distinction that matters for where and how the vehicles can be used on British roads and pavements. The site presents these scooters as simple to use and durable, and frames the range around everyday journeys.

Mobility scooters: from travel models to road-capable machines

The scooter catalogue is split into several collections: All Roads & Terrain Scooters, Easy Travel Scooters and Best Sellers. Among the models listed at the time of writing this profile are the Ranger 3, a four-wheeled scooter offered in blue, black, red and grey; the RaptorFold, a lightweight instant-folding scooter; the ZippyFold, also folding and lightweight; the Raptor Go, a 16 kg folding model; the Raptor Fold Air, with a magnesium alloy frame and a weight of 14 kg excluding the battery, described as airline-friendly; the Cullinan, a 20 kg folding scooter with a stated 14-mile range; the ViperFold, an automatic folding model; and the Carbon Plus, a 16 kg folding scooter.

Several of these listings carry customer review counts on the product pages, ranging from a handful of reviews to more than forty on the RaptorFold. The site also flags some items as sold out, such as the ZippyFold and the ViperFold, which indicates that availability varies by model.

Power chairs and travel scooters

The power chair section follows the same lightweight, folding approach. The Phantom is a magnesium carbon folding electric powerchair weighing 13 kg, with a removable battery and airline-friendly design, offered in grey and bronze. The Glide X Compact is an 18 kg instant-folding powerchair, while the Apollo Carbon is an ultra-lightweight folding model at 12 kg. The Raptor Pro is a 14 kg folding powerchair, and the SK6011 is listed as a foldable and portable electric wheelchair.

Alongside the chairs, the shop sells replacement lithium batteries for several models, including the Airgo, the GlideX and the Carbon Ultra, which suggests an intent to support equipment after purchase rather than only at the point of sale.

How the range is presented

The site groups products by use case rather than only by model. There are collections for easy travel, all roads and terrain, best sellers, road legal scooters and fastest folding lightweight scooters, plus a general mobility scooters for sale section. A canopy option for scooters also appears in the navigation. The homepage highlights fast delivery, secure payment, 24/7 online support and available returns as service features.

Prices are shown with substantial discounts from a higher reference price on many items; for example, the Ranger 3 was listed at £1,699 against £3,198, and the RaptorFold at £729 against £1,458. These figures reflect the catalogue at the time of writing this profile and are subject to change.

Customer feedback shown on the site

The homepage includes written testimonials with five-star ratings attributed to customers in London, Manchester and Los Angeles, commenting on lightweight construction, manoeuvrability, adjustable footrests and seats, power assist and customer service. These are individual accounts reproduced by the company and are not presented here as a verified measure of performance.

Buying and after-sales information

The shop includes an affiliate programme, a blog, an FAQ section and a page dedicated to VAT exemption, a relief that applies in the UK to certain mobility equipment. Payment methods listed include American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Klarna, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal, Union Pay and Visa. The company also publishes a returns policy alongside its privacy and terms of service pages.
