CCTV Seller: Hikvision CCTV kits and systems from a UK wholesaler

CCTV Seller is a UK-based online supplier specialising in Hikvision surveillance equipment. The company presents itself as a Hikvision Authorised Wholesaler and states that it has been selling CCTV kits and CCTV systems since 2013. Its catalogue is built almost entirely around the Hikvision brand, covering both IP and HD (analogue HD-TVI) technology.

The site is operated by MKHB Limited, registered under number 10527757 and with VAT number 258 9916 41. It offers two account types, a consumer sign-up and a trade sign-up, and lists free UK delivery, a best price guarantee and unlimited technical support among its service claims.

IP CCTV kits by camera count

A large part of the offer consists of preconfigured IP kits, organised by the number of cameras included. The range runs from single-camera systems up to 16-camera packages, with intermediate options for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 cameras. These kits combine PoE cameras with network video recorders, and the listings reference specific models such as the DS-2CD2387G3-LI2UY ColorVu turret, the DS-2CD2346G3-IZ2UY and DS-2CD2046G3-IZ2UY Darkfighter motorised units, and the DS-2CD2T86G2H-2I bullet camera.

For buyers who prefer to define their own configuration, the site also provides an IP CCTV Kit Builder tool.

HD analogue kits and Power over Coax

Alongside IP, the catalogue includes HD CCTV kits built on HD-TVI technology, again arranged by camera count from 1 to 16. Some of these systems use Power over Coax (PoC) technology, described on the site as plug-and-play, with examples such as the 5MP EXIR turret kits in 6- and 16-camera versions. A separate HD CCTV Kit Builder is available for custom setups.

Recorders, cameras and accessories

The product structure extends well beyond kits. Recorders are divided into IP NVRs and HD DVRs, with IP models organised by channel count from 4 up to 128 channels and including a VPro series. HD DVRs are listed in 4, 8, 16 and 32 channel versions.

The camera range is extensive and grouped by type:

• IP cameras: dome, bullet, ColorVu, 4K, PTZ, ANPR, cube, PanoVu, thermal, fisheye and covert models.
• HD cameras: bullet, dome, PTZ and 4K.
• Mounting brackets for bullet, dome and PTZ cameras in both IP and HD formats.

Supporting categories include PoE switches, PoE injectors, IP extenders, powerline adapters, wireless transmission, video decoders and encoders, and PTZ controllers. Cabling is sold in Cat5e, Cat6 and RG59 formats, and the site also stocks monitors, HDMI cables, monitor brackets and surveillance hard drives ranging from 1TB to 10TB.

Access control, intercoms and alarms

Beyond video surveillance, the catalogue covers access control and intercoms, including PoE video intercoms, 2-wire intercoms, smart cards and intercom brackets. It also lists Hikvision AX Pro alarm equipment.

Support material and purchasing process

The site includes a videos and downloads section with practical guides, such as setting up Hikvision Cloud P2P on a phone or tablet, formatting a DVR or NVR hard drive, and playing back recorded footage. A quote request form is available, and the company states that it can source specific Hikvision products on request. The catalogue also carried a notice at the time of writing that Hikvision prices would increase from 30 September, with an invitation to sign up or call before that date.
