TheCpuHub: Custom Gaming PCs Hand-Built in Rotherham

TheCpuHub is a custom gaming computer specialist based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, founded in 2019 by gamers and hardware enthusiasts. The company hand-assembles each system in its Rotherham workshop and ships across the United Kingdom. Its catalogue covers both ready-to-ship builds and bespoke configurations, with a stated total of more than 10,555 systems built.

Every PC is individually assembled by technicians rather than mass-produced on an assembly line, and each unit undergoes stress testing and benchmarking before leaving the workshop. The company describes its approach as centred on component quality, transparent configuration advice and after-sales support.

Systems and Component Selection

TheCpuHub builds around AMD Ryzen and Intel Core Ultra processors, paired with NVIDIA RTX or AMD Radeon graphics cards, DDR5 memory and NVMe storage. The site lists trusted component brands including NVIDIA, AMD, Corsair, MSI and ASUS. Builds are organised into series such as Elite and Pro, and the catalogue is filterable by budget bands: under £800, £800–£1,299, £1,300–£1,799 and above £1,800.

Among the configurations shown at the time of writing are a Ryzen 9 9900X Pro Series system with 64GB DDR5 and an RTX 3050 8GB at £2,452.07 inc. VAT, a similar Pro Series build with an RX 9060 XT 16GB at £2,544.77 inc. VAT, and an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Elite Series machine with 64GB DDR5, an RTX 5080 16GB and a 2TB NVMe drive at £3,647.60 inc. VAT. The range also includes variants with RTX 5050, RTX 5060, RTX 5060 Ti, RTX 5070 and RX 9070 graphics.

Choosing a PC by Game or by Quiz

Beyond browsing the full catalogue, customers can select a system by the game they intend to play; the site groups recommendations for titles including Fortnite, Valorant, Call of Duty, Minecraft, Roblox, Cyberpunk 2077, CS2 and EA FC 25. A separate 60-second quiz asks for the games played and the budget, and returns a suggested PC. A build-your-own option lets customers start from the processor and configure the rest of the system, while fully bespoke builds can be requested directly.

Warranty, Delivery and Payment

Each system carries a three-year parts and labour warranty, and lifetime technical support is included. Builds are completed in two to four working days, after which they are dispatched by DPD on a fully insured, tracked next-working-day service at no charge within the UK. Customers can alternatively collect from the Rotherham workshop by arrangement; the site notes that the location is a short drive from Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield. Payment can be spread through Klarna's Pay in 3 interest-free instalments, and PayPal Pay in 3 is also accepted alongside Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal and PayPal Credit.
