Moonstone Crystals, a crystal and wellness shop on Romsey High Street

Moonstone Crystals is a crystal and wellness retailer based at 17 The Hundred in Romsey, trading under the name Moonstone Crystals Ltd. The shop combines a retail offer built around crystals and minerals with a wider wellness range that extends to jewellery, incense, tarot and aromatherapy. Its own account of the business describes a shop that grew out of a chance visit to Romsey, where a crystal shop displaying "For Sale" signs became the starting point for a venture between the founder and her mother.

From Dukes Mill to The Hundred

According to the shop's own history, Moonstone Crystals first opened in Dukes Mill, taking on the existing stock and learning the trade as it went. The founder combined the shop with a full-time role as a hospital scientist, spending evenings researching crystals, their origins and their use in supporting wellbeing. Over time the offer expanded with information cards, chakra-based displays and an aromatherapy line including essential oils and teas.

The catalogue shown included faceted mystic topaz drop earrings, a sterling silver Baltic amber lucky clover, a mixed stone ring, rose quartz and smokey quartz pendants, and earrings in chalcedony, merlinite, smokey quartz, opalite and emerald, several of them marked as 925 silver. The range covers crystal gift sets, zodiac gifts, dragon ornaments under the Nemesis name, a mythical figure and cat collection, fairy gifts, a Green Man collection and a steampunk collection. Zodiac gift boxes combining an aromatherapy bracelet, oil and crystals were listed for several signs, alongside zodiac crystal tumblestone sets.

Workshops and markets in Romsey

The shop runs workshops and takes bookings for markets. Its events listing included a Crystals for Menopause Support workshop led by Caroline, described as a supportive session exploring crystals that may help support wellbeing during the menopause journey. It also listed two fayres at Romsey Town Hall on Market Place: a Winter Wellness Fayre with handmade gifts, wellness products, crystals and spiritual readings, and a Christmas Artisan & Wellness Fayre bringing together local makers, wellness practitioners and small businesses.
